Al tercer d\u00eda se celebr\u00f3 una boda en Can\u00e1 de Galilea, y la madre de Jes\u00fas estaba all\u00ed. Jes\u00fas y sus disc\u00edpulos tambi\u00e9n fueron invitados a la boda. Cuando se acab\u00f3 el vino, la madre de Jes\u00fas le dijo: \u201cNo tienen vino\u201d. Jes\u00fas le respondi\u00f3: \u201cMujer, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tienes que ver conmigo? Todav\u00eda no ha llegado mi hora\u201d. Su madre les dijo a los sirvientes: \u201cHaced todo lo que \u00e9l os diga\u201d.\u201d

El encuentro con el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas que analizaremos hoy tambi\u00e9n involucra al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas y a su madre. La escena transcurre en una boda en Can\u00e1, donde ambos estaban presentes. Durante la celebraci\u00f3n, al anfitri\u00f3n se le acab\u00f3 el vino. En ese momento, el Invitado \u2014el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas\u2014 se convirti\u00f3 en el verdadero Anfitri\u00f3n. En los vers\u00edculos 1-2, lo vemos como el Invitado; en los vers\u00edculos 3-5, como el Hijo; y en los vers\u00edculos 6-12, como el Anfitri\u00f3n.<\/p>

Imaginen la verg\u00fcenza que sentir\u00eda el anfitri\u00f3n de la boda al quedarse sin vino. Mar\u00eda hab\u00eda meditado mucho en su coraz\u00f3n acerca de su Hijo y sab\u00eda que \u00c9l podr\u00eda resolver este problema. Al acudir a \u00c9l, le expuso la situaci\u00f3n, y su respuesta podr\u00eda parecernos extra\u00f1a: \u201cMujer, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tienes que ver conmigo? Todav\u00eda no ha llegado mi hora\u201d. El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas se refiere a \u201cmi hora\u201d, una frase que aparece al menos diez veces en el Evangelio de Juan: cinco veces como \u201ctodav\u00eda no ha llegado\u201d y cinco veces como \u201cla hora ha llegado\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Su respuesta no ofendi\u00f3 a Mar\u00eda; ella comprendi\u00f3 lo que quer\u00eda decir. \u00c9l le recordaba que \u00c9l actuaba seg\u00fan un plan divino. Quien controlaba ese plan era su Padre, no las circunstancias de la vida.<\/p>

Mar\u00eda, llena de fe, dijo a los sirvientes: \u201cHagan todo lo que \u00e9l les diga\u201d. Entonces el Se\u00f1or les orden\u00f3 que llenaran seis tinajas con agua, y ellos obedecieron. Al seguir sus instrucciones y sacar agua de las tinajas, descubrieron que el agua se hab\u00eda convertido en vino, \u00a1y no en cualquier vino, sino en el mejor vino! (vv. 9-10).<\/p>

El Se\u00f1or no le dijo a Mar\u00eda ni a los sirvientes lo que iba a hacer, ni siquiera c\u00f3mo lo iba a hacer. De la misma manera, no revela todo su plan para nuestras vidas de una sola vez. Desea que simplemente le obedezcamos y confiemos en \u00e9l. \u201cSin fe es imposible agradar a Dios\u201d (Hebreos 11:6).<\/p>
