\u201cPues aun cuando llegamos a Macedonia, nuestros cuerpos no tuvieron descanso, sino que sufrimos aflicciones por doquier: luchas por fuera y temor por dentro. Pero Dios, que consuela a los abatidos, nos consol\u00f3 con la llegada de Tito, y no solo con su llegada, sino tambi\u00e9n con el consuelo que \u00e9l recibi\u00f3 de ustedes, al contarnos su anhelo, su lamento y su celo por m\u00ed, de modo que me alegr\u00e9 a\u00fan m\u00e1s\u201d.\u201d<\/em>
2 Corintios 7:5\u20137<\/strong><\/p>

El ap\u00f3stol Pablo se sinti\u00f3 muy animado porque la asamblea hab\u00eda respondido bien a su primera carta. Hab\u00eda sido muy audaz y firme al corregir a esta iglesia descarriada, pero ahora se regocija de que el Se\u00f1or estuviera obrando entre ellos, diciendo:, \u201cGrande es mi osad\u00eda al hablarles, grande es mi orgullo por ustedes. Me siento lleno de consuelo. Me regocijo enormemente en medio de todas nuestras tribulaciones\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (2 Corintios 7:4).<\/p>

Pablo hab\u00eda atravesado muchas dificultades al llegar a Macedonia. Estaba constantemente de viaje, con poco tiempo para descansar. Adondequiera que iba, se encontraba con problemas: externamente, hab\u00eda conflictos; internamente, temores.<\/p>

\u00a1Qu\u00e9 maravilloso que, en medio de tantos problemas, Pablo pudiera decir:, \u201c\u00a1Pero Dios!\u201d<\/em> Algunas traducciones lo traducen \u201cSin embargo, Dios\u201d,\u201d<\/em> Pero la idea es la misma: \u00a1Dios interviene! Es Dios quien consuela a los abatidos, y en este caso, lo hizo mediante la llegada de Tito. En 2:13, Pablo dijo que no encontraba a Tito y que, por ello, su esp\u00edritu estaba inquieto. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 bondadoso fue el Se\u00f1or al brindarle a Pablo paz y consuelo justo en el momento oportuno! Cuando Tito lleg\u00f3, trajo buenas noticias sobre el arrepentimiento de los corintios y el renovado afecto hacia Pablo, lo cual llen\u00f3 de alegr\u00eda el coraz\u00f3n del ap\u00f3stol.<\/p>

Cuando sentimos las presiones de la vida, tanto externas como internas, busquemos el "Pero Dios" en nuestra situaci\u00f3n. \u201cDios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza, nuestra ayuda siempre presente en momentos de angustia.\u201d<\/em> (Salmo 46:1). La palabra \u201cproblema\u201d aqu\u00ed conlleva la idea de estar acorralado sin salida. En momentos como este, Dios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza. Incluso cuando todo a nuestro alrededor est\u00e1 cambiando o desmoron\u00e1ndose, el Se\u00f1or viene y provee exactamente lo que necesitamos. Por eso \u00c9l dice a cada uno de nuestros corazones:, \u201cEstad quietos y sabed que yo soy Dios\u201d<\/em> (v. 10).<\/p>
