Una perspectiva eterna<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u201cComo ovejas, ser\u00e1n sepultadas; la muerte las consumir\u00e1; por la ma\u00f1ana, los justos reinar\u00e1n sobre ellas; y en el sepulcro se desvanecer\u00e1 su belleza, lejos de su morada. Pero Dios redimir\u00e1 mi alma del poder del sepulcro, pues \u00c9l me recibir\u00e1. Selah.\u201d<\/em>
Salmo 49:14\u201315<\/strong><\/p>

Al leer el Salmo 49, escuchas al autor aconsejarnos que no pongamos nuestra confianza en las riquezas. Este es un salmo escrito para cada<\/em> camino de la vida-\u201ca todos los pueblos\u201d<\/em> y \u201ctodos los habitantes del mundo\u201d<\/em> (v. 1). Se aplica tanto a ricos como a pobres (v. 2), a personas de alta y baja condici\u00f3n (v. 2), a sabios y a necios (v. 10). El salmo nos recuerda que no podemos llevarnos nuestras riquezas con nosotros, por lo que no debemos convertirlas en el objetivo de nuestra vida, ni debemos envidiar a los ricos. El salmista advierte a los piadosos que no envidien la prosperidad de los imp\u00edos ni se dejen seducir por sus posesiones.<\/p>

A menudo se ha dicho:, \u201cNo te lo puedes llevar; nunca ves un cami\u00f3n de mudanzas U-Haul detr\u00e1s de un coche f\u00fanebre.\u201d<\/em> Todos dejar\u00e1n todo atr\u00e1s. Por eso es importante no vivir solo para el futuro. ahora mismo,<\/em> pero vivir ahora con eternidad<\/em> a la vista. El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas dijo:, \u201cNo acumulen tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y el \u00f3xido destruyen, y donde los ladrones entran y roban; acumulen, en cambio, tesoros en el cielo, donde ni la polilla ni el \u00f3xido destruyen, y donde los ladrones no entran ni roban. Porque donde est\u00e9 tu tesoro, all\u00ed estar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n tu coraz\u00f3n\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Mateo 6:19\u201321).<\/p>

El Salmo 49 tambi\u00e9n presenta otra verdad aleccionadora pero necesaria: La muerte nos llega a todos.<\/em> Todos moriremos y seremos sepultados a menos que el Se\u00f1or regrese primero. El salmista nos dice que el hombre, como un animal, ser\u00e1 enterrado (v. 12), y la muerte consumir\u00e1 su cuerpo f\u00edsico. Nuestros cuerpos, aunque admirablemente y maravillosamente creados, se descompondr\u00e1n en la tumba. Pero los justos, aquellos que no confiaron en las riquezas sino en el Se\u00f1or, tendr\u00e1n una belleza m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la tumba.<\/em><\/p>

Aqu\u00ed es donde aparece nuestro \u00abPero Dios\u00bb. El salmista enfatiza dos verdades:<\/p>

El Se\u00f1or redimir\u00e1 el alma de los justos del poder de la tumba.<\/strong>
Para nosotros, esto solo es posible gracias a la obra consumada del Se\u00f1or Jesucristo (Hebreos 2:14-15).<\/p>

El Se\u00f1or recibir\u00e1 el alma de los redimidos.<\/strong>
