Al citar este vers\u00edculo, a menudo lo sacamos de su contexto para enfatizar la maravillosa verdad del asombroso amor de Dios hacia nosotros. Pero al releer el pasaje, encontramos otro aspecto de este amor asombroso que lo hace a\u00fan m\u00e1s valioso para nosotros.<\/p><p data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"1141\">Nuestro vers\u00edculo contrasta el amor de Dios con el tipo de amor mencionado en el vers\u00edculo 7: <em data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"861\">\u201cDif\u00edcilmente morir\u00e1 alguien por un hombre justo; sin embargo, tal vez alguien se atrever\u00eda a morir por un hombre bueno.\u201d<\/em> En griego, este vers\u00edculo dice literalmente:, <em data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"958\">\u201cPor el buen hombre, alguien se atrever\u00eda incluso a morir.\u201d<\/em> El art\u00edculo definido \u201cel\/la\u201d aparece en el texto original. Pablo quiere decir que si un hombre as\u00ed realmente existe \u2014alguien excepcionalmente bueno\u2014 tal vez alguien estar\u00eda dispuesto a morir por \u00e9l.<\/p><p data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1506\">Pablo ya ha declarado anteriormente en Romanos que <em data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1406\">\u201cNo hay justo, ni siquiera uno; no hay quien entienda; no hay quien busque a Dios. Todos se han desviado; a una se han vuelto in\u00fatiles; no hay quien haga lo bueno, ni siquiera uno\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Romanos 3:10\u201312). Pero hab\u00eda Uno a quien la Escritura se refiere como <em data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1490\">\u201cel Justo\u201d<\/em> (1 Juan 2:1).<\/p><p data-start=\"1508\" data-end=\"1688\">Como ya hemos visto, la condici\u00f3n humana se resume en la debilidad, la impiedad, el pecado y la enemistad de Dios. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 alguien dar\u00eda su vida por tales personas?<\/p><p data-start=\"1690\" data-end=\"2020\">La declaraci\u00f3n \u201cPero Dios\u201d en nuestro vers\u00edculo contrasta nuestro d\u00e9bil amor humano con el amor infinito de Dios. Revela que Dios inici\u00f3 su amor hacia nosotros cuando no ten\u00edamos nada que ofrecerle a cambio. Nuestro Dios es el que es <em data-start=\"1904\" data-end=\"2006\">\u201cEl Se\u00f1or, el Se\u00f1or Dios, misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira y grande en bondad y verdad\u2026\u201d<\/em> (\u00c9xodo 34:6).<\/p><p data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2471\">Nuestro vers\u00edculo de hoy enfatiza el car\u00e1cter mismo de nuestro Dios, el Aquel que <em data-start=\"2091\" data-end=\"2262\">\u201cNo se tarda en cumplir su promesa, como algunos piensan, sino que es paciente con nosotros, no queriendo que nadie perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento\u201d.\u201d<\/em>(2 Pedro 3:9). Pedro tambi\u00e9n nos dice:, <em data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2454\">\u201cCristo tambi\u00e9n padeci\u00f3 una sola vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos a Dios, siendo a la verdad muerto en la carne, pero vivificado por el Esp\u00edritu\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (1 Pedro 3:18). La cruz fue parte del plan divino de amor de Dios.\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2473\" data-end=\"2606\"><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>El amor de Dios es tan grande como su poder.
