Sino que Dios ha escogido lo necio del mundo para avergonzar a los sabios, y lo d\u00e9bil del mundo para avergonzar a lo fuerte; y lo vil del mundo y lo menospreciado ha escogido Dios, y lo que no es, para anular lo que es, para que nadie se glor\u00ede en su presencia.\u201d<br \/><\/em><strong>1 Corintios 1:26\u201328<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"1181\">Esta es aproximadamente la s\u00e9ptima vez que Pablo menciona la palabra <em data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"758\">\u201c&quot;llamar&quot;\u201d<\/em> o <em data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"774\">\u201c&quot;vocaci\u00f3n.&quot;\u201d<\/em> El cap\u00edtulo comienza con Pablo describi\u00e9ndose a s\u00ed mismo como <em data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"853\">\u201cllamado a ser ap\u00f3stol\u201d<\/em> (1:1). \u00c9l escribe a los creyentes en Corinto que est\u00e1n <em data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"921\">\u201cllamado\u201d<\/em> unos (1:2). La palabra <em data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"951\">iglesia<\/em>\u2014<em data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"962\">ekklesia<\/em>-medio <em data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"994\">\u201cllamado\u201d.\u201d<\/em> Ellos eran los que eran <em data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1038\">\u201cllamados santos\u201d,\u201d<\/em> significado <em data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1058\">poner aparte <\/em>(1:2). Tambi\u00e9n estaban vinculados e interdependientes con todos los que, en todo lugar, invocan el nombre de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo.<\/p><p data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1523\">El llamado del creyente es sumamente importante, aunque a menudo perdemos de vista su significado. En este primer cap\u00edtulo, Pablo nos recuerda que todo cristiano est\u00e1 llamado a ser santo (vv. 1-9). Hemos sido <em data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1452\">\u201cllamados a la comuni\u00f3n con su Hijo, Jesucristo nuestro Se\u00f1or\u201d<\/em> (vv. 9\u201325). Y estamos llamados a glorificar a Dios y a Cristo (vv. 26\u201331).<\/p><p data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1957\">En el pasaje de hoy, Pablo nos exhorta a considerar cuidadosamente nuestro llamado. Debemos reconocer que Dios no nos llam\u00f3 por lo que \u00e9ramos, \u00a1sino a pesar de lo que \u00e9ramos! Si Dios nos hubiera llamado por quienes somos o por lo que pod\u00edamos ofrecerle, el orgullo y la arrogancia nos habr\u00edan dominado r\u00e1pidamente. Pero Dios hizo algo diferente, algo que solo \u00c9l pod\u00eda hacer, para que solo \u00c9l reciba la gloria por un plan de salvaci\u00f3n tan misericordioso y amoroso.<\/p><p data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2203\">Ha escogido las necedades de este mundo para avergonzar a los sabios.<br data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2027\" \/>Ha escogido lo d\u00e9bil para avergonzar a lo poderoso.<br data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2080\" \/>Ha escogido lo vil y despreciable \u2014s\u00ed, incluso lo que no es nada\u2014 para reducir a la nada lo que es.<\/p><p data-start=\"2205\" data-end=\"2262\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Para que <em data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2260\">\u201cQue nadie se glor\u00ede en su presencia.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"2264\" data-end=\"2493\">Pablo concluye: <em data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2473\">\u201cPero vosotros est\u00e1is en Cristo Jes\u00fas, por \u00e9l mismo est\u00e1is, quien nos ha sido hecho por Dios sabidur\u00eda, justificaci\u00f3n, santificaci\u00f3n y redenci\u00f3n, para que, como est\u00e1 escrito: \u2018El que se glor\u00eda, glor\u00edese en el Se\u00f1or\u2019\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (1 Corintios 1:30\u201331).<\/p><p data-start=\"2495\" data-end=\"2664\"><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>En la presencia de Dios, no hay lugar para la gloria del hombre.
