Porque el Hijo del Hombre ha venido a buscar y a salvar lo que se hab\u00eda perdido.\u201d
<\/em>Lucas 19:10<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cPorque el Padre busca a quienes le adoren de esta manera.\u201d
<\/em>Juan 4:23<\/strong><\/p>

En el primer vers\u00edculo, vemos que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas vino a buscar y salvar lo que se hab\u00eda perdido. En el segundo vers\u00edculo, vemos que el Padre envi\u00f3 a su Hijo a buscar y salvar, con el prop\u00f3sito espec\u00edfico de formar un pueblo que lo adore. A menudo pensamos que la raz\u00f3n principal por la que hemos sido redimidos es para escapar del infierno. Ciertamente, ese es un beneficio maravilloso, pero no es el prop\u00f3sito principal. Si bien podemos y debemos disfrutar de las bendiciones que tenemos en Cristo, estas no deben convertirse en nuestro principal objetivo. Nunca debemos estar tan absortos en las bendiciones que perdamos de vista a Aquel que nos las dio.<\/p>

Puede que nos sorprenda darnos cuenta de que el motivo supremo de nuestra redenci\u00f3n no es que nosotros recibamos, sino que Dios reciba. Hemos sido redimidos para que Dios sea adorado y glorificado a trav\u00e9s de nuestras vidas. El ap\u00f3stol Pablo lo expres\u00f3 as\u00ed: \u201cA \u00e9l sea la gloria en la iglesia por Cristo Jes\u00fas, por todas las generaciones, por los siglos de los siglos\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Efesios 3:21).<\/p>

En Romanos 1:5, aprendemos que el prop\u00f3sito de la evangelizaci\u00f3n es \u201cobediencia a la fe entre todas las naciones por amor de su nombre.\u201d <\/em>El ap\u00f3stol Juan se hace eco de esto en 3 Juan 7, escribiendo que los misioneros salieron \u201cPor amor a su nombre.\u201d<\/em> Nuestra salvaci\u00f3n es ante todo para la gloria de Dios, no meramente para nuestro beneficio.<\/p>

Por supuesto, disfrutamos de innumerables bendiciones en la salvaci\u00f3n. Pero estas son ventajas adicionales, no el prop\u00f3sito final. Estamos llamados a glorificar a Dios antes de buscar obtener algo de \u00c9l.<\/p>

Esto es lo que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas enfatiz\u00f3 cuando dijo:, \u201cBuscad primero el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os ser\u00e1n a\u00f1adidas.\u201d<\/em> (Mateo 6:33). A lo largo de las Escrituras vemos que la actividad principal de Dios siempre ha sido buscar verdaderos adoradores. En Apocalipsis 19:1\u20135, la iglesia en el cielo declara: \u201c\u00a1Aleluya! \u00a1La salvaci\u00f3n, la gloria, el honor y el poder pertenecen al Se\u00f1or nuestro Dios! Porque verdaderos y justos son sus juicios\u2026 \u00a1Aleluya! \u2026 \u00a1Am\u00e9n! \u00a1Aleluya! \u2026 \u00a1Alabad a nuestro Dios, todos sus siervos y los que le temen, peque\u00f1os y grandes!\u201d<\/em><\/p>

El prop\u00f3sito \u00faltimo del cielo es que podamos adorar a Dios correctamente y para siempre.<\/p>
