Safe In His Hands<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u201cAnd I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.\u201d
\u202d\u202dJohn\u202c \u202d10\u202c:\u202d28\u202c<\/strong><\/p>

God\u2019s ultimate control of our lives, His dealings with us, and our eternal security are entirely in His hands\u2014the hands of our Lord and Savior, our mighty, everlasting Friend. He desires to impart confidence and His own holy calmness to even the weakest of His children. We are with Him, and He is with us\u2014in the storms of life and in times of calm. We are as safe as He is.<\/p>

The One who controls the winds and the waves, the armies of heaven and the affairs of men, is Jesus. He died to make us His own, He lives to keep His own, and He will soon come again to take His own. His death on the cross secures our salvation as sinners, and His life in heaven secures our deliverance as saints, for \u201cHe ever lives to make intercession\u201d<\/em> for us (Hebrews 7:25).<\/p>

The strength of our security lies in the fact that God\u2019s character and our eternal safety are vitally connected and stand or fall together. \u201cI rest on the justice of God,\u201d<\/em> said a dying Christian. The righteous character of God is inseparably bound to the salvation of even the weakest believer. The eternal loss of a soul who trusted in Christ is awful to contemplate\u2014but even more awful would be the tarnishing of God\u2019s character before the universe. To think that God could fail to keep one who has turned to Him from sin is impossible! Believers\u2014young or old, weak or strong\u2014are \u201ckept for salvation by the power of God\u201d<\/em> (1 Peter 1:5) and declared just by Him.<\/p>

Anchor For Today:<\/strong>
We are held secure by the Lord Jesus. Those He purchased with His own blood, He will preserve so that He might present them to Himself in glory. He is able to keep us!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
