Siehe, ich habe einer Witwe dort befohlen, f\u00fcr dich zu sorgen.\u2019\u201d<br \/><strong>1 K\u00f6nige 17:8-9<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Elia hatte sich K\u00f6nig Ahab gezeigt und ihm die Botschaft \u00fcberbracht, dass es ohne sein Wort weder Tau noch Regen geben w\u00fcrde. Doch dann wies ihn der Herr an, sich am Bach Kerit zu verbergen, wo Raben ihn morgens und abends mit Nahrung versorgen w\u00fcrden. Doch die Lektionen \u00fcber den Wert des verborgenen Lebens waren f\u00fcr ihn noch nicht beendet. Der Herr hatte unreine V\u00f6gel benutzt, um Elia zu ern\u00e4hren, und nun wollte er eine arme Witwe gebrauchen, die selbst in gro\u00dfer Not war.<\/p><p>Elia gehorcht und trifft die Witwe am Stadttor. Er sammelt Holz, um ein Feuer f\u00fcr die letzte Mahlzeit f\u00fcr sich und ihren Sohn zu machen. Er bittet sie: \u201cBring mir etwas Wasser in einem Gef\u00e4\u00df, damit ich trinken kann\u201d (V. 10). Trotz ihres eigenen Leidens willigt die Witwe ein, seiner Bitte nachzukommen. Elia geht noch weiter und bittet sie, auch Brot mitzubringen. Die Witwe antwortet: \u201cSo wahr der Herr, dein Gott, lebt, ich habe nichts Gebackenes, nur eine Handvoll Mehl im Topf und etwas \u00d6l im Krug. Und jetzt sammle ich ein paar St\u00f6cke, um hineinzugehen und es f\u00fcr mich und meinen Sohn zuzubereiten, damit wir es essen und sterben k\u00f6nnen\u201d (V. 12). Da versichert ihr Elia: \u201cDenn so spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Der Topf mit Mehl wird nicht leer werden und der Krug mit \u00d6l nicht bis zu dem Tag, an dem der Herr Regen auf die Erde sendet\u201d (V. 14). Dieser Teil ihrer Geschichte endet mit einem Segen: \u201cSo ging sie hin und tat, wie Elia ihr gesagt hatte; und sie und er und ihr Haus a\u00dfen viele Tage lang\u201d (V. 15).<\/p><p>Was war der Wendepunkt dieser Geschichte? Es war der Moment, als Elia sagen konnte: \u201cSo spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels.\u201d Elia hatte gelernt, sich Gott hinzugeben, indem er sich versteckte. Er hatte erfahren, dass wenig Hingabe an den Herrn viel in seiner Hand bedeutet. Dann erkannten Elia und die Witwe gemeinsam die Wahrheit von Psalm 73,25-26: \u201cWen habe ich im Himmel au\u00dfer dir? Und auf Erden begehre ich nichts au\u00dfer dir. Mein Leib und meine Seele vergehen, aber Gott ist meines Herzens St\u00e4rke und mein Teil f\u00fcr immer.\u201d<\/p><p>Hoffnung wurde ihnen geschenkt, als Elia ihr versicherte, dass nichts ausgehen w\u00fcrde, \u201cbis der Herr Regen auf die Erde sendet\u201d, und sie erlebten die Hilfe des Herrn, als \u201cder Mehltopf nicht leer wurde und der \u00d6lkrug nicht versiegte, wie der Herr es gesagt hatte\u201d.
