Die Raben brachten ihm morgens und abends Brot und Fleisch, und er trank aus dem Bach. Nach einiger Zeit aber versiegte der Bach, weil es im Land nicht geregnet hatte.\u201d<br \/><strong>1 K\u00f6nige 17:4-7<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Der Herr hatte Elia angewiesen, zum Bach Kerit zu gehen und sich dort zu verstecken. Nun stand Elia \u00f6ffentlich vor K\u00f6nig Ahab und verk\u00fcndete, dass es nicht regnen w\u00fcrde. Jakobus 5,17-18 l\u00fcftet den Schleier dar\u00fcber und berichtet: \u201cElia war ein Mensch wie wir, und er betete inst\u00e4ndig, dass es nicht regnen sollte; und es regnete drei Jahre und sechs Monate lang nicht im Land. Und er betete wieder, und der Himmel gab Regen, und die Erde brachte ihre Frucht.\u201d Das Verstecken in Kerit diente nicht dazu, dass er beten lernte; er war bereits ein Mann des Gebets. Das Verstecken sollte Elia lehren, dass im Dienst des Herrn kein Platz f\u00fcr das Ego ist. Wie C. H. Mackintosh es ausdr\u00fcckte: \u201cUnsere Zeit der \u00dcbung im Verborgenen muss unsere Zeit des \u00f6ffentlichen Auftretens bei weitem \u00fcbertreffen.\u201d<\/p><p>Diese Zeit allein mit dem Herrn war f\u00fcr Elia auch in anderer Hinsicht wertvoll. Sie lehrte ihn, dass Gott allein sein Versorger war. Elia hatte Wasser zu trinken, und der Herr befahl Raben, ihn zu ern\u00e4hren. Wenn wir uns im Einklang mit Gottes Willen befinden, wird er f\u00fcr all unsere Bed\u00fcrfnisse sorgen. Der Rabe galt als unreiner Vogel (3. Mose 11,13-19), doch der Herr zeigte seinem Diener, dass er \u00fcber allem stand und ihn versorgen w\u00fcrde, w\u00e4hrend er sich versteckte. Der Herr sandte ihm jeden Morgen und Abend Brot und Fleisch durch diese Raben, w\u00e4hrend er auch aus dem Bach trank.<\/p><p>Als der Bach austrocknete, war der Herr, der f\u00fcr ihn gesorgt hatte, immer noch bei Elia! Das Austrocknen des Baches \u00fcberraschte den Herrn nicht. Seine F\u00fcrsorge f\u00fcr Elia wurde dadurch nicht beeintr\u00e4chtigt, und er behielt die Kontrolle. Wenn die Wasserl\u00e4ufe in unserem Leben austrocknen, m\u00fcssen wir uns daran erinnern, dass der Herr f\u00fcr uns sorgen kann. Die Gnade, die uns gerettet hat, ist die Gnade, die uns erhalten kann, und seine Gnade, die uns in unserem Leben st\u00e4rkt, gen\u00fcgt f\u00fcr all unsere Bed\u00fcrfnisse!<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Die F\u00fcrsorge des Herrn war m\u00f6glich, weil Elia sich verborgen gehalten hatte und dort war, wo der Herr ihn hingeschickt hatte.
