Nahum wurde vom Herrn berufen, das Gericht \u00fcber eben jenes Volk zu prophezeien, dem Jona widerwillig gepredigt und das Bu\u00dfe getan hatte. Doch die Zeit war vergangen, und die Einwohner Ninives waren zu ihren s\u00fcndhaften Wegen zur\u00fcckgekehrt. Im ersten Kapitel lesen wir von der Verk\u00fcndung des Gerichts, im zweiten von der Macht des Gerichts und im dritten von dessen Endg\u00fcltigkeit. Drei Kapitel voller Gericht umgeben diesen Propheten!<\/p><p>Doch unser Vers steht wie ein Leuchtturm da und strahlt Hoffnung in die dunkle Nacht f\u00fcr alle, die vorbeigehen! In diesem einen Vers sehen wir drei Dinge.<\/p><p>Zuerst lesen wir von der G\u00fcte Gottes. Das w\u00fcrden wir vielleicht nicht so ausdr\u00fccken. Wir w\u00fcrden vielleicht sagen: \u201cDer Herr ist heilig\u201d oder \u201cDer Herr ist gro\u00df\u201d, aber Nahum verk\u00fcndet die G\u00fcte des Herrn! Der Herr ist gut \u2013 ethisch, moralisch und praktisch. David w\u00fcrde uns daran erinnern, dass der Herr gut ist und Gutes tut (Psalm 119,68). Die G\u00fcte des Herrn wurde M\u00e4nnern wie Mose und Jeremia offenbart (2. Mose 33,19; 34,6; Klagelieder 3,25). Diese G\u00fcte Gottes zeigte sich im ganzen Leben des Herrn Jesus, als er umherging und Gutes tat (Apostelgeschichte 10,38).<\/p><p>Nahum konnte selbst im Gerichtssaal verk\u00fcnden, dass der Herr g\u00fctig ist, denn er ist eine Zuflucht f\u00fcr alle, die ihm vertrauen. Er ist eine sichere St\u00e4tte in Zeiten der Not (Psalm 46,1-2). Nahums Botschaft ist klar: Der Herr kann diejenigen, die sich ihm zuwenden, vor dem strengen Gericht bewahren, das bald \u00fcber Ninive kommen sollte.<\/p><p>Der Herr hatte Geduld mit dieser Stadt, so wie er es auch heute mit der Menschheit hat. Petrus erinnert uns: \u201cDer Herr z\u00f6gert nicht mit der Erf\u00fcllung seiner Verhei\u00dfung, wie manche meinen, sondern er hat Geduld mit uns und will nicht, dass irgendjemand verloren geht, sondern dass alle zur Umkehr finden\u201d (2 Petr 3,9).<\/p><p>So wie das Gericht \u00fcber Ninive kam, so kommt es auch \u00fcber alle, die Gottes Erl\u00f6sung durch seinen Sohn ablehnen. \u201cDenn Gott hat seinen Sohn nicht in die Welt gesandt, um die Welt zu verurteilen, sondern damit die Welt durch ihn gerettet werde\u201d (Joh 3,17).<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Heute strahlt ein Leuchtturm die frohe Botschaft von Gottes Gnade aus und verk\u00fcndet: Gott liebt dich! Er hat am Kreuz Jesu Christi den Weg zur Erl\u00f6sung bereitet.
