Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen des HERRN, und wandelte in den Wegen seines Vaters David; er wich weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken ab.\u201d<\/em><br \/><em><strong>2 Chronik 34:1-2<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Josia reiht sich in die Schar zweier anderer K\u00f6nige ein, von denen gesagt wird, dass sie \u201ctaten, was recht war in den Augen des Herrn\u201d. Von Joschafat, Hiskia und Josia hei\u00dft es, sie h\u00e4tten alle \u201crecht\u201d in den Augen des Herrn gehandelt.<\/p><p>Das Wort \u201crecht\u201d l\u00e4sst sich mit dem Wort \u201cgesegnet\u201d in Psalm 1 verbinden, wo es hei\u00dft: \u201cWohl dem, der nicht wandelt im Rat der Gottlosen, noch steht auf dem Weg der S\u00fcnder, noch sitzt im Kreis der Sp\u00f6tter, sondern seine Lust hat am Gesetz des HERRN und sinnt \u00fcber sein Gesetz Tag und Nacht! Er ist wie ein Baum, gepflanzt an Wasserb\u00e4chen, der seine Frucht bringt zu seiner Zeit, dessen Bl\u00e4tter nicht verwelken und alles, was er tut, gelingt ihm.\u201d Das Wort \u201cgesegnet\u201d kann mit \u201cgl\u00fccklich\u201d \u00fcbersetzt werden. Der Weg zu einem gl\u00fccklichen Leben f\u00fchrt \u00fcber das, was recht ist in den Augen des Herrn!<\/p><p>Gehorsam ist der Schl\u00fcssel zu einem erf\u00fcllten und befriedigenden Leben vor Gott. Alles, was nicht vollkommener Gehorsam ist, hinterl\u00e4sst eine Leere im Herzen, und wir k\u00f6nnen keine wahre Zufriedenheit und vollkommene Erf\u00fcllung finden. David erinnert uns: \u201cWie kann ein junger Mann seinen Weg reinigen? Indem er sich nach deinem Wort richtet. Von ganzem Herzen suche ich dich; lass mich nicht abirren von deinen Geboten! Dein Wort habe ich in meinem Herzen bewahrt, damit ich nicht gegen dich s\u00fcndige\u201d (Psalm 119,9-11).<\/p><p>Diese Art von Glaube und Gehorsam gegen\u00fcber dem Wort Gottes zeigte sich bei Timotheus, wie Paulus ihm mitteilte: \u201cNiemand soll dich wegen deiner Jugend verachten; vielmehr sei den Gl\u00e4ubigen ein Vorbild im Wort, im Wandel, in der Liebe, im Geist, im Glauben und in der Reinheit\u201d (1 Tim 4,12). Paulus bezeichnete seinen Glauben in 2 Tim 1,5 als \u201cechten Glauben\u201d, und Timotheus hatte schon von Kindheit an den Wunsch, dem Wort Gottes zu gehorchen (2 Tim 3,15).<\/p><p>Die \u00c4hnlichkeiten zwischen Josia und Timotheus sind vielf\u00e4ltig, und in beiden F\u00e4llen belohnte der Herr sie, weil sie auf sein Wort reagierten.<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Und wir heute? Wie reagieren wir auf das Wort Gottes? Es ist gut, sich daran zu erinnern: \u201cDenn die Augen des HERRN durchstreifen die ganze Erde, um denen beizustehen, deren Herz ihm treu ergeben ist\u201d (2 Chron. 16,9).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Right In The Sight Of The Lord \u201cJosiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem.
