Es stammt aus Exodus 17,15, wo wir sehen, wie Mose dem Altar diesen Namen gibt, nachdem der HERR ihnen den Sieg \u00fcber die Amalekiter geschenkt hatte.<\/p><p>Amalek war der erste Feind, dem Israel in der W\u00fcste begegnen musste. Er steht sinnbildlich f\u00fcr die fleischliche Natur. Amalek stellte eine Herausforderung f\u00fcr das Volk Gottes dar, so wie die fleischliche Natur auch f\u00fcr Gl\u00e4ubige eine Herausforderung ist. Der Sieg Israels wurde errungen, als Mose seine H\u00e4nde erhob. Hier sehen wir ein Vorbild f\u00fcr die F\u00fcrbitte des Herrn Jesus im Himmel f\u00fcr uns.\u00a0<\/p><p>In Philipper 1 finden wir Paulus\u201c Zeugnis: \u201dDenn f\u00fcr mich ist Christus das Leben und Sterben ein Gewinn\u201c (Phil 1,21). In den Versen 27\u201330 sehen wir dann sieben praktische Wege, wie Gl\u00e4ubige \u201dChristus leben\u201c k\u00f6nnen, solange wir noch auf Erden sind. Wir sollen ein dem Evangelium w\u00fcrdiges Leben f\u00fchren; standhaft bleiben; Seite an Seite mit anderen Gl\u00e4ubigen k\u00e4mpfen; uns nicht von unseren Gegnern einsch\u00fcchtern lassen; uns der Gnade Gottes bewusst sein; bereit sein zu leiden; und uns im Kampf engagieren.<\/p><p>Mitten in diesen praktischen Ermahnungen erkennen wir, dass Gott die Quelle unseres Heils ist. Paulus sagt, dass ihr Heil \u201cvon Gott\u201d kommt (V. 28). Er ist es, der uns die Kraft und F\u00e4higkeit gibt, das zu tun, was bezeugt, dass Christus in uns lebt. Wir sind berufen, standhaft zu bleiben, zu k\u00e4mpfen, zu leiden und uns dem Kampf zu stellen, aber wir tun dies nicht aus eigener Kraft. Derjenige, unter dessen Banner wir stehen, ist es auch, der uns f\u00fcr den Kampf ausr\u00fcstet.<\/p><p>Das christliche Leben ist nicht frei von Konflikten. In dieser Welt werden wir Bedr\u00e4ngnis erfahren. Es gibt Gegner des Gl\u00e4ubigen und Feinde des Kreuzes Christi. Doch in jedem Konflikt erweist sich Gott als unser Jehova Nissi \u2013 unser Banner. Die ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit auf Gott erm\u00f6glicht es uns, inmitten des Kampfes Freude zu empfinden.<\/p><p>Der erste Name Gottes, den wir im Philipperbrief wiederfinden, spricht zu uns von g\u00f6ttlichem Schutz. Jehova Nissi ist unser Banner im Kampf.<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>So wie Israels Sieg \u00fcber Amalek vom Herrn kam, so kommt auch unsere F\u00e4higkeit, inmitten von Widerstand standhaft zu bleiben und \u201cChristus zu leben\u201d, von
