Das bedeutet, dass er der h\u00f6chste Herrscher des Universums ist und tun kann, was ihm gef\u00e4llt. Und weil Gott gerecht ist, ist alles, was ihm gef\u00e4llt, vollkommen und immer richtig. Der Herr verk\u00fcndet durch den Propheten Jesaja: \u201cMein Ratschluss soll bestehen, und alles, was mir gef\u00e4llt, will ich tun\u201d (Jes 46,10). Nachdem Nebukadnezar vom Herrn gez\u00fcchtigt worden war, rief er aus: \u201cEr tut, was er will, mit dem Heer des Himmels und mit den Bewohnern der Erde. Niemand kann seine Hand aufhalten oder zu ihm sagen: \u2018Was hast du getan?'\u201d (Dan 4,35). In R\u00f6mer 9,20 erinnert uns Paulus daran, dass wir kein Recht haben, Gottes Handeln in Frage zu stellen: \u201cAber wahrlich, Mensch, wer bist du, dass du mit Gott Widersprichst? Spricht etwa das Gebilde zu dem, der es geformt hat: \u2018Warum hast du mich so gemacht?'\u201d Der Apostel erkl\u00e4rt auch, dass Gott derjenige ist, \u201cder alles nach dem Ratschluss seines Willens wirkt\u201d (Eph 1,11).<\/p><p>Die Propheten Jesaja und Jeremia sprechen beide von Gott als dem Meistert\u00f6pfer (Jes 29,16; 45,9; 64,8; Jer 18,6). Wenn er der T\u00f6pfer ist \u2013 und das ist er \u2013, dann sind wir der Ton! Durch Sch\u00f6pfung und Erl\u00f6sung hat er Rechte \u00fcber uns. Wir sollten uns ihm in jeder Lage unterordnen und niemals an seiner F\u00fcrsorge, seinem Mitgef\u00fchl und seiner Liebe zu dem Gef\u00e4\u00df zweifeln, das er formt. Die Wahrheit seiner Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t in meinem Leben erlaubt es ihm, mich nach seinem Willen zu gestalten, ohne dass ich seine Entscheidungen infrage stelle.<\/p><p>Die Lehre von seiner Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t tr\u00f6stet uns auch in Zeiten des Drucks, denn wir wissen, dass er als h\u00f6chster Herrscher seine Ziele verfolgt und sie zum gew\u00fcnschten Ergebnis f\u00fchren werden. Er hat das Werk an seinem Gef\u00e4\u00df begonnen und wird es vollenden (Phil 1,6).
