Sein Leben war vollkommen und verherrlichte Gott. In Psalm 69 lesen wir von den inneren Gef\u00fchlen und Leiden des Herrn Jesus (Ps 69,2\u20134.7\u201312.20\u201321). Doch wir sehen auch, was ein solches Leben zur Ehre Gottes bewirkte, wenn der Psalm prophetisch vom Herrn sagt: \u201cIch will den Namen Gottes loben mit einem Lied und ihn preisen mit Danksagung\u201d (Ps 69,30).<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In Hebr\u00e4er 10,5 lesen wir, dass der Herr Jesus derjenige war, den Gott gebrauchte, um uns nahe zu sein. Dort hei\u00dft es: \u201cOpfer und Gaben hast du nicht gewollt, aber einen Leib hast du mir bereitet.\u201d Diese Worte stammen aus Psalm 40, der den Herrn als Brandopfer beschreibt. Weiter hei\u00dft es: \u201cAlle, die dich suchen, sollen sich freuen und jubeln in dir; die deine Rettung lieben, sollen immerdar sagen: \u2018Der Herr sei gepriesen!\u2019\u201d (Ps 40,16).<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Das war das Wirken des Herrn Jesus. Er verherrlichte Gott in jeder Hinsicht und brachte ihn uns dadurch nahe. Die Heilige Schrift sagt: \u201cIm Anfang war das Wort, und das Wort war bei Gott, und das Wort war Gott.\u201d Und weiter: \u201cDas Wort ward Fleisch und wohnte unter uns, und wir sahen seine Herrlichkeit, voller Gnade und Wahrheit.\u201d (Johannes 1,1.14). In Johannes 14,9 konnte er sagen: \u201cWer mich gesehen hat, hat den Vater gesehen.\u201d Er verherrlichte Gott. Er war \u201cGott, der im Fleisch erschienen ist\u201d. In und durch seinen Leib brachte er Gott uns nahe, damit wir seine Gr\u00f6\u00dfe erkennen konnten.<\/p><p>Auch unser Leben sollte Gott verherrlichen! Ich glaube, die Heilige Schrift lehrt uns, dass unser ganzes Wesen Gott verherrlichen soll \u2013 unser Geist, unsere Seele und unser Leib.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Denken wir an Marias Worte in Lukas 1,46: \u201cMeine Seele preist den Herrn.\u201d Die Seele ist der Sitz unserer Gef\u00fchle, daher wollte sie in ihrem Innersten ihren Gott verherrlichen. Johannes der T\u00e4ufer hatte denselben Wunsch, als er \u00fcber den Herrn Jesus sagte: \u201cEr muss wachsen, ich aber muss abnehmen\u201d (Johannes 3,30).<\/p><p>Auch wir sollten diesen Wunsch haben \u2013 dass der Herr nicht nur in unserem Innersten emotional verherrlicht wird, sondern auch in und durch unseren K\u00f6rper. Paulus bringt dies zum Ausdruck, wenn er sagt: \u201cOder wisst ihr nicht, dass euer Leib ein Tempel des Heiligen Geistes ist, der in euch wohnt und den ihr von Gott habt? Ihr geh\u00f6rt nicht euch selbst, denn ihr seid teuer erkauft worden. Darum verherrlicht Gott mit eurem Leib und mit eurem Geist, die Gott geh\u00f6ren.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Ganz praktisch gesehen sollte unser Leben den Herrn f\u00fcr alle sichtbar machen!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Life That Magnifies The Lord A life that magnifies the Lord is a life that brings God near to those with whom it comes in contact!
