Doch er musste lernen, geduldig auf den Herrn zu warten und ihm zu vertrauen. Dieses Kapitel erinnert uns an Asaf in Psalm 73, der Gottes Wege ebenfalls nicht verstand. Er begriff nicht, warum B\u00f6sen Gutes widerfuhr, bis er ins Haus des Herrn ging und begann, die Dinge aus Gottes Perspektive zu sehen. F\u00fcr Habakuk geschieht dies auf dem Wachturm. Der Herr beginnt, Habakuk seine Sichtweise zu offenbaren, indem er ihm drei Aufgaben \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt.<\/p><p>Zun\u00e4chst sollte er alles aufschreiben. Habakuk hatte die Rolle eines W\u00e4chters \u00fcbernommen, dessen Aufgabe es war, das Volk vor Gefahren zu warnen. Die Offenbarung, die Habakuk empfing, bezog sich unmittelbar auf den Untergang der Babylonier, wies aber laut Hebr\u00e4er 10,37 auch auf die zuk\u00fcnftige Wiederkunft unseres Herrn hin.<\/p><p>Die zweite Aufgabe Habakuks bestand darin, Gottes Wort zu vertrauen. Der Herr stellte ihm den Unterschied zwischen denen dar, die auf sich selbst vertrauen, und denen, die im Glauben leben. In den Versen 4\u20135 sehen wir die Folgen des Stolzes und der Unzufriedenheit. Diesen Menschen spricht der Herr im weiteren Verlauf des Kapitels f\u00fcnf Weherufe aus: Wehe \u00fcber selbsts\u00fcchtigen Ehrgeiz (2,6\u20138), Wehe \u00fcber Habsucht (2,9\u201311), Wehe \u00fcber die Ausbeutung der Menschen (2,12\u201314), Wehe \u00fcber Trunkenheit und Gewalt (2,15\u201317) und Wehe \u00fcber G\u00f6tzendienst (2,18\u201320). Dieses Urteil zu verk\u00fcnden, war die dritte Aufgabe Habakuks.<\/p><p>Im Gegensatz dazu stehen diejenigen, die aus Glauben leben. Wir wissen, dass der Satz \u201cDer Gerechte wird aus Glauben leben\u201d dreimal im Neuen Testament zitiert wird: in R\u00f6mer 1,17, wo der Begriff \u201cder Gerechte\u201d betont wird; in Galater 3,11, wo der Begriff \u201cwird leben\u201d hervorgehoben wird; und in Hebr\u00e4er 10,38, wo der Begriff \u201caus Glauben\u201d betont wird. Dies erinnert uns daran, dass Gerechtigkeit allein in Christus zu finden ist und dass wir aus Glauben leben sollen.<\/p><p>Der Herr offenbart Habakuk in Vers 4 seine Gnade und in Vers 14 die Aussicht auf seine Herrlichkeit: \u201cDenn die Erde wird voll sein von der Erkenntnis der Herrlichkeit des Herrn, wie die Wasser das Meer bedecken.\u201d Er erinnert den Propheten auch an seine Herrschaft: \u201cAber der Herr ist in seinem heiligen Tempel. Die ganze Erde schweige vor ihm!\u201d (2,20). Unser Gott hat alles in seiner Hand! Wie gut tut es, in unserer heutigen Zeit an diese drei Dinge erinnert zu werden!<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Lasst uns daran erinnern, was Gott gesagt hat, und seinem Wort vertrauen.
