Gib mir zu essen mit dem mir zugeteilten Brot, damit ich nicht satt werde und dich verleugne und sage: \u2018Wer ist der Herr?\u2019 Oder damit ich nicht arm werde und stehle und den Namen meines Gottes entweihe.\u201d<br \/><strong>Spr\u00fcche 30:7\u20139<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Wir haben gesehen, dass Agur in seinem Gebet den Herrn um zwei Dinge bat: Integrit\u00e4t und Zufriedenheit. Seinen Wunsch nach Integrit\u00e4t haben wir bereits betrachtet; nun wollen wir uns dem zweiten Teil seines Gebets zuwenden \u2013 seinem Wunsch, mit dem zufrieden zu sein, was Gott ihm gegeben hat. Dies nennt man Zufriedenheit.<\/p><p>Der Herr Jesus erinnert uns: \u201cDenn wo dein Schatz ist, da ist auch dein Herz\u201d (Mt 6,21). Der Apostel Paulus schrieb: \u201cFr\u00f6mmigkeit aber, verbunden mit Gen\u00fcgsamkeit, ist ein gro\u00dfer Gewinn \u2026 Denn die Geldgier ist eine Wurzel allen \u00dcbels\u201d (1 Tim 6,6.10). Diese Verse zeigen uns, worauf wir unsere Priorit\u00e4ten setzen sollen.<\/p><p>Es ist nichts Falsches daran, f\u00fcr unsere Bed\u00fcrfnisse zu beten: \u201cUnser t\u00e4gliches Brot gib uns heute \u2026 Und f\u00fchre uns nicht in Versuchung, sondern erl\u00f6se uns von dem B\u00f6sen\u201d (Matth\u00e4us 6,11.13). Doch wir sollen uns nicht \u201cSorgen machen und fragen: Was sollen wir essen? Was sollen wir trinken? Was sollen wir anziehen? Denn nach all dem trachten die Heiden. Euer himmlischer Vater wei\u00df, dass ihr all dies braucht. Trachtet zuerst nach dem Reich Gottes und nach seiner Gerechtigkeit, so wird euch das alles zufallen\u2018 (Matth\u00e4us 6,31\u201333).<\/p><p>Diese Zufriedenheit sehen wir beim Apostel Paulus, der schrieb: \u201cNicht, dass ich Mangel litte; denn ich habe gelernt, in jeder Lage zufrieden zu sein. Ich wei\u00df, was es hei\u00dft, Mangel zu leiden, und ich wei\u00df, was es hei\u00dft, \u00dcberfluss zu haben. Ich bin mit allem vertraut: satt zu sein und zu hungern, \u00dcberfluss zu haben und Mangel zu leiden\u201d (Philipper 4,11\u201312).<\/p><p>Als Nachfolger Jesu Christi m\u00f6chte er, dass wir ihm in all unseren Bed\u00fcrfnissen vertrauen, egal wie gro\u00df oder klein sie sind. Wir dienen einem gro\u00dfen Gott, der \u201calles, was ihr braucht, nach seinem Reichtum in Herrlichkeit in Christus Jesus geben kann\u201d (Philipper 4,19).<\/p><p>Wir leben in einer Welt der Unzufriedenheit, und die Werbung suggeriert uns st\u00e4ndig, dass auch wir nicht zufrieden sein sollen. Doch wir brauchen die Haltung Agurs, der mit dem zufrieden sein wollte, was der Herr ihm gab.<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute<\/strong><br \/>M\u00f6ge der Herr unser Mittelpunkt sein und uns helfen, mit seinen t\u00e4glichen Segnungen zufrieden zu sein.
