Es unterstreicht, wie wichtig diese Wahrheit ist \u2013 eine Wahrheit, die einst verborgen war, aber nun in der Person des Herrn Jesus Christus offenbart wurde. Sie ist wesentlich f\u00fcr das Verst\u00e4ndnis eines wahrhaft gottgef\u00e4lligen Lebens.<\/p><p>Dieser Ausdruck \u201cgro\u00df\u201d steht in scharfem Kontrast zu dem, was Timotheus in Ephesus geh\u00f6rt haben d\u00fcrfte: \u201cGro\u00df ist die Diana der Epheser!\u201d (Apg 19,28.34.35). Die Verehrung der Diana war von G\u00f6tzendienst und Unmoral gepr\u00e4gt. Welch ein Gegensatz! Wahre Gottesfurcht zeigt sich in dem Herrn Jesus Christus.<\/p><p>Dieses Geheimnis der Gottesfurcht soll denen zuteilwerden, die \u201cdas Geheimnis des Glaubens mit reinem Gewissen bewahren\u201d (1 Tim 3,9). Es bezieht sich auf die gro\u00dfe Wahrheit der Erl\u00f6sung und Gerechtigkeit, die durch Christus zu finden ist und die in den Gl\u00e4ubigen Gottesfurcht hervorbringt.<\/p><p>Paulus erinnert uns weiterhin daran, dass diese Gottesfurcht in der Menschwerdung Christi, in seiner Geburt und in dem vollkommenen Leben, das er zur Ehre Gottes lebte, vollkommen zum Ausdruck kam. Er war die Verk\u00f6rperung vollkommener Gottes\u00e4hnlichkeit.<\/p><p>Er wurde \u201cim Geist gerechtfertigt\u201d, was bedeutet, dass der Geist Gottes w\u00e4hrend seines gesamten \u00f6ffentlichen Wirkens immer wieder best\u00e4tigte, wer er war. Er wurde \u201cvon Engeln gesehen\u201d \u2013 vor und bei seiner Geburt, nach seiner Versuchung in der W\u00fcste, bei seiner Auferstehung und auch jetzt noch, da die Engel ihm untertan sind.<\/p><p>Er wird in aller Welt unter den Heiden gepredigt, und unz\u00e4hlige Menschen haben ihn als Herrn und Retter erkannt. Schlie\u00dflich lesen wir, dass er \u201cin Herrlichkeit aufgenommen\u201d wurde, was seine Himmelfahrt meint. Er ist durch die Himmel gegangen (Hebr. 4,14\u201316) und sitzt zur Rechten Gottes, bis seine Feinde ihm zu F\u00fc\u00dfen gelegt werden.<\/p><p>Wahre Gottesfurcht zeigt sich nicht nur in diesem gesegneten Mann, als er hier auf Erden war; er ist auch die Quelle der Gottesfurcht, die in deinem und meinem Leben zu sehen ist.<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Nur wenn wir uns ganz auf ihn konzentrieren, wird der Geist Gottes diese Gottesfurcht in uns bewirken. Wahre Christus\u00e4hnlichkeit entsteht erst, wenn wir seinem gesegneten Bild gleichgestaltet und in es verwandelt
