\u201cDie Frucht des Geistes aber ist Liebe, Freude, Friede, Geduld, Freundlichkeit, G\u00fcte, Treue, Sanftmut und Selbstbeherrschung. Gegen solche Dinge gibt es kein Gesetz.\u201d
Galater 5:22\u201323<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Sanftmut wird oft \u00fcbersetzt als Sanftmut<\/em>. Im Neuen Testament wird der Begriff verwendet, um die Unterwerfung unter den Willen Gottes (Kol. 3,12), die Lernbereitschaft (Jak. 1,21) und die R\u00fccksichtnahme auf andere (Eph. 4,2) zu beschreiben.<\/p>

Wir sehen diese Sanftmut im Leben von Moses<\/span><\/span>, Besonders in Numeri 12 sehen wir seine Demut, Sanftmut und G\u00fcte, wie er sich beim Herrn f\u00fcr seine Schwester Mirjam einsetzte, nachdem diese ihn kritisiert und daraufhin vom Herrn mit Aussatz geschlagen worden war. Mose h\u00e4tte rachs\u00fcchtig sein k\u00f6nnen, doch stattdessen zeigte sich seine Sanftmut auf wunderbare Weise, als er f\u00fcr seine Schwester zum Herrn betete.<\/p>

Sanftmut, oder Demut, l\u00e4sst sich am besten im Leben unseres Herrn Jesus veranschaulichen, der sich selbst als \u201csanftm\u00fctig und von Herzen dem\u00fctig\u201d bezeichnete. Dasselbe Wort wird verwendet, um den Herrn Jesus bei seinem triumphalen Einzug in Jerusalem zu beschreiben: \u201cSagt der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein K\u00f6nig kommt zu dir, dem\u00fctig und reitend auf einem Esel, einem Fohlen, dem Jungen einer Eselin\u2018 (Mt 21,5).<\/span><\/p>

Der Apostel Paulus, der Apostel<\/span><\/span> Er bezog sich auch auf die Sanftmut und Freundlichkeit Christi, als er an die Gl\u00e4ubigen in Korinth schrieb: \u201cNun ermahne ich, Paulus, euch durch die Sanftmut und Milde Christi, der in eurer Gegenwart dem\u00fctig unter euch ist, aber in der Abwesenheit k\u00fchn zu euch\u201d (2 Kor 10,1).<\/span><\/p>

Sanftmut, wie alle anderen Aspekte der Frucht des Geistes, kann zwar nur durch den Heiligen Geist hervorgebracht werden, dennoch sind wir angehalten, sie anzustreben. Paulus sagt Timotheus ganz klar: \u201cDu aber, Mann Gottes, fliehe vor diesen Dingen und jage nach Gerechtigkeit, Gottesfurcht, Glauben, Liebe, Geduld, Sanftmut\u201d (1 Tim 6,11).<\/span><\/p>

Wir sollen es anziehen wie man Kleidung anzieht: \u201cSo zieht nun an als Auserw\u00e4hlte Gottes, Heilige und Geliebte, herzliches Erbarmen, Freundlichkeit, Demut, Sanftmut, Geduld\u201d (Kol. 3,12).<\/span><\/p>

Sanftmut pr\u00e4gt unsere Art, mit anderen zu sprechen (1 Petr 3,15). Sie beeinflusst unsere Ehen (1 Petr 3,1\u20136). Sie sollte unser Verhalten gegen\u00fcber S\u00fcndern (Gal 6,1) sowie unsere Leitungsrolle in der Gemeinde im Allgemeinen pr\u00e4gen (2 Tim 2,24\u201325).<\/p>
