Er steht sinnbildlich f\u00fcr einen Mann, der f\u00fcr seine Familie betet. M\u00e4nner, wie viele von uns verbringen Zeit im Gebet f\u00fcr unsere Familien? Nicht nur mit einem flehenden \u201cHerr, segne meine Familie\u201d, sondern mit inst\u00e4ndigem Gebet, indem wir unsere Familien vor Gott bringen? Wie viele von uns lassen unsere Kinder uns h\u00f6ren, wenn wir im Gebet zu unserem himmlischen Vater sprechen und f\u00fcr unsere Familie einstehen, im Wissen, dass Gott, auch wenn der Feind einen Plan hat, alles zum Guten wenden wird, wenn wir unsere Familien ihm anvertrauen? <em>Sein<\/em> Planen wir? Wenn wir f\u00fcr unsere Familie beten, sollten wir nicht nur darum bitten, dass der Herr sie \u00e4u\u00dferlich besch\u00fctzt, sondern auch, dass sie innerlich gest\u00e4rkt werden. Wir k\u00f6nnen sie nicht vom Feind isolieren, aber wir k\u00f6nnen sie durch das Wort Gottes, das wir im Gebet auss\u00e4en, vor ihm bewahren.<\/p><p>Dieser Mann in Nehemia, Jedaja, der F\u00fcrbitter, errichtete eine Mauer des Gebets. Es wird in unserem Leben schwierige, schmerzhafte und schwer zu bew\u00e4ltigende Situationen geben. Diesen Herausforderungen k\u00f6nnen wir nur durch Gebet und Fasten begegnen. So war es auch mit dem besessenen Jungen, den Jesus befreite. Da war sein Vater, der wusste, wohin er seinen Sohn in dieser gro\u00dfen Not bringen sollte. Und genau das tat er. Er brachte seinen Sohn zu Jesus und bat ihn um Heilung. Der Herr erh\u00f6rte sein Gebet und heilte seinen Sohn (Mk 9,14\u201329).
