Da machte sich der Hohepriester Eljaschib mit seinen Priesterbr\u00fcdern auf und baute das Schaftor. Sie weihten es und h\u00e4ngten die Tore ein. Sie bauten bis zum Turm der Hundert und weihten ihn, dann bis zum Turm Hananel. Neben Eljaschib bauten die M\u00e4nner von Jericho. Und neben ihnen baute Sakkur, der Sohn Imris.<\/em>
Nehemia 3:1\u20132<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>

Das dritte Kapitel des Buches Nehemia ist sehr ereignisreich; alle sind am Bau der Mauer beteiligt. Die Formulierungen \u201cneben ihm\u201d und \u201cnach ihm\u201d werden etwa drei\u00dfig Mal wiederholt. Sie arbeiten Seite an Seite, jeder tr\u00e4gt seinen Teil zum Mauerbau bei. Es handelte sich nicht um professionelle Bauarbeiter oder Zimmerleute. Menschen aller Berufe waren dabei: Parf\u00fcmeure (Neh 3,8), Goldschmiede (V. 8.31), Tempeldiener (V. 26), H\u00e4ndler (V. 32) und Priester. Auch viele Anf\u00fchrer aus verschiedenen Regionen halfen mit (V. 9\u201314).<\/p>

Dies erinnert uns daran, wie wichtig es ist, gemeinsam zur Ehre Gottes zu wirken. Jemanden an seiner Seite zu haben, kann ein wahrer Segen sein. Dar\u00fcber hinaus erfreut es Gott, der sagt: \u201cSiehe, wie gut und wie lieblich ist es, wenn Br\u00fcder einm\u00fctig beieinander wohnen!\u201d (Psalm 133,1).<\/p>

Paulus erinnert uns daran, dass Christus als Haupt der Kirche jedem von uns Gaben gegeben hat, \u201cdamit die Heiligen f\u00fcr den Dienst ausger\u00fcstet werden, damit der Leib Christi erbaut werde, bis wir alle zur Einheit des Glaubens und der Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes gelangen, zum vollkommenen Menschen, zum vollen Ma\u00df der F\u00fclle Christi, damit wir nicht mehr unm\u00fcndige Kinder seien, die sich von jedem Wind der Lehre hin und her treiben lassen\u201d (Eph 4,12\u201316).<\/p>
