In 2. K\u00f6nige 23 erfahren wir von der Zeit des G\u00f6tzendienstes, in die dieser Junge hineingeboren wurde. Trotz seiner schwierigen Herkunft gilt er als der letzte gute K\u00f6nig von Juda. Was zeichnete einen so guten K\u00f6nig aus, schon mit acht Jahren? Was kennzeichnete die Erweckung, die durch sein hingegebenes Herz bewirkt wurde? Welche geistlichen Lehren k\u00f6nnen wir f\u00fcr unser eigenes Leben ziehen?<\/p><p>Diese Fragen lassen sich anhand eines \u00dcberblicks \u00fcber das Leben Josias in 2 Chronik 34 beantworten. Erstens: Geistliche Erneuerung beginnt mit Gehorsam gegen\u00fcber dem Wort Gottes. Zweitens: Geistliche Sehnsucht ist Voraussetzung f\u00fcr Erweckung; Josia \u201cfing an, den Gott seines Vaters David zu suchen\u201d (V. 3). Drittens: Geistliche Erweckung kann nur in Verbindung mit dem Wort Gottes geschehen (V. 8\u201321). Viertens: Wenn das Wort Gottes klar verk\u00fcndet wird (V. 29\u201333), entsteht eine geistliche Reaktion, die zur Einheit des Volkes f\u00fchrt. F\u00fcnftens: Wahre geistliche Anbetung ist das Ergebnis wahrer geistlicher Arbeit im Herzen des Volkes. Das Passahfest wurde gefeiert, und der Herr nahm seinen rechtm\u00e4\u00dfigen Platz unter seinem Volk wieder ein!<\/p><p>Das alles geschah, weil dieser junge Mann mit sechzehn Jahren begann, sich ernsthaft mit dem Herrn auseinanderzusetzen. Mit zwanzig Jahren begann er, alles, was seinem Gott nicht Ehre erwies, eifrig auszumerzen (V. 3). Als er sechsundzwanzig war, engagierte er sich intensiv f\u00fcr die geistlichen Belange des Hauses des Herrn (V. 8\u201310). Und all das, bevor er \u00fcberhaupt drei\u00dfig Jahre alt war!<\/p><p>Josia ist ein herausragendes Vorbild f\u00fcr uns alle, unabh\u00e4ngig von unserem Alter. Er ist ein wunderbares Beispiel, an dem wir uns orientieren und die Eigenschaften eines Menschen erkennen k\u00f6nnen, den Gott selbst in Zeiten geistlicher Krise zur Erweckung gebrauchen kann.<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Bist du ein Josia?
