Johannes an die sieben Gemeinden in der Provinz Asia: Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von dem, der ist und der war und der kommt, und von den sieben Geistern vor seinem Thron und von Jesus Christus, dem treuen Zeugen, dem Erstgeborenen von den Toten und dem Herrscher \u00fcber die K\u00f6nige der Erde.
Offenbarung 1,4\u20135<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

Johannes wendet sich in diesem Zusammenhang an die sieben Gemeinden in Asien, die sich im Gebiet der heutigen Westt\u00fcrkei befanden. Es handelte sich dabei um real existierende Versammlungen jener Zeit, die aber auch symbolisch f\u00fcr die Zust\u00e4nde stehen, die man heute in manchen Kirchen antreffen kann. Eine dritte Betrachtungsweise dieser sieben Gemeinden besteht darin, sie als prophetische Geschichte der Kirche im Laufe der Zeit zu sehen.<\/p>

Gemeinsam unterstreichen Gnade und Friede die Einheit, die Gott heute in der Kirche sieht. Diese Einheit zeigt sich in diesen sieben Gemeinden: Obwohl es sich um sieben eigenst\u00e4ndige Gemeinschaften handelt, sind sie in Christus miteinander verbunden.<\/p>

Diese Gnade und dieser Friede flie\u00dfen \u201cvon dem, der ist und der war und der da kommt\u201d. Dies ist Gott, die Quelle allen Segens (Jak 1,17; Eph 1,3). Er ist der Ewige, der immer derselbe ist und sich niemals \u00e4ndert (Mal 3,6). Diese Segnungen der Gnade und des Friedens flie\u00dfen auch \u201cvon den sieben Geistern\u201d. Wir d\u00fcrfen niemals den Eindruck gewinnen, es g\u00e4be sieben verschiedene Geister. Sieben ist die Zahl der Vollkommenheit, daher betont dieser Ausdruck die F\u00fclle des Heiligen Geistes (vgl. Jes 11,2). Er ist der Geist der Gnade (Hebr 10,29), der Frieden im Leben der Gl\u00e4ubigen bewirkt (Gal 5,22).<\/p>

Schlie\u00dflich sehen wir, dass diese Gnade und dieser Friede von Jesus Christus, dem Herrn, ausgehen. Er wird wohl zuletzt erw\u00e4hnt, weil Johannes nun die Erh\u00f6hung Jesu Christi einleitet und dieses Thema durch das ganze Buch hindurchf\u00fchrt! Er spricht weiter von ihm als dem treuen Zeugen, dem Erstgeborenen von den Toten und dem Herrscher \u00fcber die K\u00f6nige der Erde.<\/p>
