Den Reichen in dieser Weltzeit gebiete, dass sie nicht hochm\u00fctig seien und ihre Hoffnung nicht auf den unsicheren Reichtum setzten, sondern auf Gott, der uns alles reichlich zum Genuss zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt.
1 Timotheus 6:17<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

Was schenkt dir Zufriedenheit im Leben? Paulus erinnert uns in diesem Vers daran, dass wahre Zufriedenheit nicht in unserem Reichtum liegt, sondern in Gott, der uns nicht nur mit allem N\u00f6tigen versorgt, sondern uns auch an dem teilhaben lassen m\u00f6chte, was er uns gibt. Das ist das Geheimnis wahrer Zufriedenheit: den Geber mehr zu genie\u00dfen als die Gaben selbst!<\/p>

Mose ist uns in dieser Hinsicht ein Vorbild. Wir lesen: \u201cDurch den Glauben weigerte sich Mose, als er erwachsen war, Sohn der Tochter des Pharao genannt zu werden. Er zog es vor, mit dem Volk Gottes Misshandlungen zu ertragen, als den verg\u00e4nglichen Vergn\u00fcgungen der S\u00fcnde zu fr\u00f6nen. Er hielt die Schmach Christi f\u00fcr gr\u00f6\u00dferen Reichtum als die Sch\u00e4tze \u00c4gyptens, denn er sah auf die Belohnung\u201d (Hebr. 11,24\u201326). Mose wusste, dass er seine Hoffnung nicht auf den unsicheren Reichtum setzen sollte, sondern auf Gott selbst!<\/p>

Salomo hingegen musste dies auf die harte Tour lernen. Der Prediger berichtet von Salomos Streben nach Befriedigung; er suchte Erf\u00fcllung in allem anderen, nur nicht im Herrn. Er glaubte, Vergn\u00fcgen k\u00f6nnten seine Bed\u00fcrfnisse stillen (Pred 2,1\u20133), doch das lie\u00df ihn nur leer zur\u00fcck. Er dachte, materielle Dinge k\u00f6nnten ihm Zufriedenheit schenken (V. 7\u20138), doch am Ende all seiner Suche erkl\u00e4rte er: \u201cIch hasste das Leben, denn was unter der Sonne geschieht, war mir zuwider; denn alles ist eitel und ein Haschen nach Wind\u201d (V. 17).<\/p>

Wie so viele heute suchte auch Salomo nach dem Sinn des Lebens, nach echter Hoffnung f\u00fcr die Zukunft. Zufriedenheit im Hier und Jetzt und Hoffnung f\u00fcr die Zukunft findet man in einer lebendigen Beziehung zu Jesus Christus!<\/p><\/div>
