Das Wort Gottes hilft uns zu erkennen, dass unsere Erl\u00f6sung nicht auf irgendetwas beruht, was wir getan haben, um gerettet zu werden oder um gerettet zu bleiben. Die christliche Hoffnung ist auf dem Fundament des vollbrachten Werkes des Sohnes Gottes am Kreuz erbaut!<\/p><p>Die Erl\u00f6sung ist ein Geschenk Gottes (R\u00f6m 6,23; Eph 2,8) an alle, die sich Gott zuwenden und glauben (Joh 3,16; R\u00f6m 10,8\u201310). Allen, die darum bitten, wird die Erl\u00f6sung verhei\u00dfen (Joh 6,37), wodurch man volles Vertrauen in den Herrn gewinnt, der sie anbietet (Tit 1,2). Auf dem festen Fundament des Wortes Gottes ruht die Gewissheit des Siegels des Heiligen Geistes. Dieses Siegel gibt uns Zuversicht, selbst wenn wir uns nicht erl\u00f6st f\u00fchlen.\u201c<\/p><p>Wenn Zweifel und Entmutigung aufkommen, klammert sich die Hoffnung an die Verhei\u00dfung des Heiligen Geistes. In 2. Korinther 1,21\u201322 lesen wir: \u201cGott aber, der uns mit euch in Christus festigt und uns gesalbt hat, der hat uns auch versiegelt und uns den Geist als Unterpfand in unsere Herzen gegeben.\u201d Der Geist Gottes ist die Garantie unserer Hoffnung. Diese wunderbare Hoffnung erf\u00fcllt das Herz des Gl\u00e4ubigen: Wir sind geborgen in den H\u00e4nden eines liebenden Vaters, gesichert durch das vollbrachte Werk des Sohnes, des Herrn Jesus Christus, und versiegelt durch den Heiligen Geist, der mit unserem Geist bezeugt, dass wir Kinder Gottes sind. Wir werden \u201cdurch Gottes Macht durch den Glauben bewahrt zur Seligkeit, die bereit ist, am Ende der Zeit offenbart zu werden\u201d (1.
