Ein Pferd ist eine vergebliche Hoffnung auf Sicherheit; auch es kann niemanden durch seine gro\u00dfe Kraft retten. Siehe, das Auge des <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Herr <\/span>Es liegt an denen, die ihn f\u00fcrchten. <br \/><strong>Psalm 33:16\u201318<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Woher nehmen wir Hoffnung? Vielleicht sollten wir uns fragen, was wir eigentlich unter Hoffnung verstehen. Was ist Hoffnung? Laut Webster\u2019s W\u00f6rterbuch bedeutet Hoffnung \u201ceinen Wunsch voller Vorfreude hegen, sich w\u00fcnschen, dass etwas geschieht, vertrauen\u201d. Doch in der Bibel hat Hoffnung eine viel tiefere Bedeutung. Dort ist sie die feste Erwartung dessen, was Gott verhei\u00dfen hat, und ihre St\u00e4rke liegt in seiner Treue.<\/p><p>Wir leben in einer Welt ohne Hoffnung. So viele Menschen um uns herum leben ohne Hoffnung auf die Zukunft! So viele ertragen t\u00e4glich Gef\u00fchle der Leere, Angst und Hoffnungslosigkeit.<\/p><p>Warum herrscht heute so viel Hoffnungslosigkeit in der Welt? Weil die Menschen Gottes Verhei\u00dfungen entweder den R\u00fccken gekehrt oder sie aus den Augen verloren haben. Doch f\u00fcr diejenigen, die an einen heiligen Gott glauben, der seinen Sohn nicht zur Verdammnis, sondern zur Rettung in die Welt sandte, gibt es wahre Hoffnung! Der Glaube an diesen liebenden Gott durch seinen Sohn ist das Fundament, auf dem ein Leben aufgebaut werden kann. Wenn wir auf Gott hoffen, richten wir unseren Blick auf seine Verhei\u00dfungen statt auf unsere eigenen Umst\u00e4nde. Wir gr\u00fcnden unsere Hoffnung darauf, wer unser Gott ist und was er verhei\u00dfen hat: \u201cin der Hoffnung auf das ewige Leben, das Gott, der nicht l\u00fcgen kann, vor Anbeginn der Zeit verhei\u00dfen hat\u201d (Tit 1,2). Wir gr\u00fcnden unsere Hoffnung auf sein Buch der Verhei\u00dfungen, das unver\u00e4nderliche Wort Gottes! Wir m\u00fcssen unseren Blick \u00fcber unsere Umst\u00e4nde und \u00fcber diese Welt hinaus erheben, um die Hoffnung auf den Himmel, die Hoffnung auf die Auferstehung und die Hoffnung, Christus \u00e4hnlich zu sein, zu erkennen \u2013 nicht als etwas, das vielleicht geschieht, sondern als Garantie eines liebenden Gottes.
