Wir haben bereits seinen Wunsch nach Integrit\u00e4t betrachtet; nun wollen wir uns dem zweiten Teil seines Gebets zuwenden, seinem Wunsch, mit dem zufrieden zu sein, was Gott ihm gegeben hat. Dies nennt man Zufriedenheit. Der Apostel Paulus schrieb: \u201cFr\u00f6mmigkeit mit Gen\u00fcgsamkeit ist ein gro\u00dfer Gewinn \u2026 Denn die Geldgier ist eine Wurzel allen \u00dcbels\u201d (1 Tim 6,6.10). Diese Verse erinnern uns daran, worauf wir unsere Priorit\u00e4ten setzen sollen.<\/p><p>Es ist nichts Falsches daran, f\u00fcr unsere Bed\u00fcrfnisse zu beten: \u201cUnser t\u00e4gliches Brot gib uns heute\u201d (Mt 6,11). Aber wir sollen uns nicht \u201cSorgen machen und fragen: Was sollen wir essen? Was sollen wir trinken? Was sollen wir anziehen? Denn nach all dem trachten die Heiden \u2026 Trachtet aber zuerst nach dem Reich Gottes und nach seiner Gerechtigkeit, so wird euch das alles zufallen\u2018 (Mt 6,31\u201333). Diese Zufriedenheit sehen wir beim Apostel Paulus, der schrieb: \u2019Ich habe gelernt, satt zu sein und zu hungern, \u00dcberfluss zu haben und Mangel zu leiden\u2018 (Phil 4,12). Wenn wir Jesus Christus nachfolgen, m\u00f6chte er, dass wir ihm in all unseren Bed\u00fcrfnissen vertrauen, egal wie gro\u00df oder klein sie auch sein m\u00f6gen!<\/p><p>Wir leben in einer unzufriedenen Welt, und die Werbung suggeriert uns, dass auch wir nicht zufrieden sein sollen. Doch wir brauchen die Haltung Agurs, der mit dem zufrieden sein wollte, was der Herr uns schenkte. M\u00f6ge der Herr unser Ziel sein und uns helfen, mit seinen t\u00e4glichen Segnungen zufrieden zu sein; und m\u00f6gen wir, wenn wir in Not sind, auf seine G\u00fcte vertrauen, dass er f\u00fcr uns sorgt!<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<\/strong><br \/>Sich allein auf Gott zu verlassen und mit dem zufrieden zu sein, was er gibt, ist wahrlich ein gro\u00dfer
