Sein Gebet ist tats\u00e4chlich das einzige, das in den Spr\u00fcchen Salomos aufgezeichnet ist. Er bat den Herrn um zwei Dinge: Integrit\u00e4t und Zufriedenheit.<\/p><p>Agur wollte ein integres Leben vor seinem Gott f\u00fchren und beschreibt dieses Leben als frei von Falschheit und L\u00fcgen. Das Wort f\u00fcr Falschheit bedeutet Leere oder Eitelkeit. Das Wort f\u00fcr L\u00fcge bedeutet T\u00e4uschung oder Betrug. Diese beiden W\u00f6rter erfassen das Wesen dieser Welt mit all ihren leeren Versprechungen und ihrer tr\u00fcgerischen Natur. Agur betet nicht um Hilfe, die Wahrheit zu sagen; er betet darum, vor der Verlockung alles Falschen und Unwahren bewahrt zu werden!<\/p><p>Es hei\u00dft oft: \u201cDer Ruf ist das, was andere von dir denken; Integrit\u00e4t ist das, was wir sind, wenn niemand zuschaut!\u201d Diese Welt versucht, unsere Zuneigung mit falschen Versprechungen, falschen Hoffnungen und falschen Vergn\u00fcgungen vom Herrn abzulenken. Doch das Wort der Wahrheit, die Bibel, weist uns auf den Einen hin, der die Wahrheit ist: den Herrn Jesus Christus. Agur vertraute nicht sich selbst und setzte kein Vertrauen in seine k\u00f6rperlichen F\u00e4higkeiten!<\/p><p>Jakobus warnt uns: \u201cWisst ihr nicht, dass Freundschaft mit der Welt Feindschaft mit Gott ist? Wer also ein Freund der Welt sein will, macht sich zum Feind Gottes\u201d (Jak 4,4). David w\u00fcrde sagen: \u201cWende meine Augen ab vom Anblick des Nichtigen\u201d (Ps 119,37).\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Anker f\u00fcr heute:<br \/><\/strong>Besitzen wir die Weisheit und Hingabe Agurs? M\u00f6gen wir \u201cunsere Augen auf Jesus richten, sein wunderbares Angesicht vollends betrachten, und die Dinge der Erde werden im Lichte seiner Herrlichkeit und Gnade seltsam
