Warum gibt es dann keine Heilung f\u00fcr die Tochter meines Volkes?<br \/><strong>Jeremia 8:22<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Ein Balsam ist eine aromatische, medizinische Substanz, die aus Pflanzen gewonnen wird. Gilead war ein Gebiet \u00f6stlich des Jordans, das f\u00fcr seine Gew\u00fcrze und Salben bekannt war. Der Balsam von Gilead war eine hochwertige Salbe mit heilenden Eigenschaften, hergestellt aus dem Harz einer bl\u00fchenden Pflanze. In der Bibel finden sich drei spezifische Hinweise auf den \u201cBalsam von Gilead\u201d.<\/p><p>In Genesis 37,25 lesen wir von der Karawane der Ismaeliter, die Balsam aus Gilead in ihrer Ladung hatten. Hier in Jeremia 8 lesen wir, wie Gott Juda vor dem warnt, was Babylon ihnen antun wird, und als Jeremia diese Nachricht h\u00f6rt, klagt er: \u201cGibt es denn keinen Balsam in Gilead?\u201d Seine Frage ist eine poetische Suche nach Hoffnung und Heilung. Dann, in Jeremia 46,11, als Gott das bevorstehende Gericht \u00fcber \u00c4gypten beschreibt, sagt er: \u201cGeh hinauf nach Gilead und hol Balsam, du Jungfrau, Tochter \u00c4gyptens! Vergeblich wirst du viele Arzneien anwenden; du wirst nicht gesund werden.\u201d In beiden Versen in Jeremia beschreibt der Prophet den Schmerz und die Hoffnungslosigkeit des Volkes Gottes und der Welt. Es gibt keinen Balsam und keinen Arzt, der den Schmerz lindern kann! Der Herr Jesus Christus ist wahrlich \u201cder Balsam von Gilead\u201d f\u00fcr leidende Menschen. Er kann sie heilen!<\/p><p>Die Frage in unserem heutigen Vers ist rhetorischer Natur, aber wir k\u00f6nnen uns fragen: Warum kommen die Menschen nicht zur Heilung? Warum gibt es heute so viele leidende Gl\u00e4ubige? Warum wendet sich die Welt nicht an den gro\u00dfen Arzt und findet Heilung? Vielleicht erkennen viele ihre Krankheit nicht, genau wie die Menschen in Korinth, wo ein schwacher geistlicher Zustand herrschte.
