Dasselbe Wort wird verwendet, um zwei von D\u00e4monen besessene M\u00e4nner zu beschreiben, die in den Gr\u00e4bern lebten und \u00fcberaus wild waren (Matth\u00e4us 8,28). Dies erinnert uns an das, was Paulus in 1. Timotheus 4,1 schrieb: \u201cDer Geist aber sagt ausdr\u00fccklich, dass in den letzten Zeiten einige vom Glauben abfallen und sich betr\u00fcgerischen Geistern und Lehren von D\u00e4monen zuwenden werden.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"535\">Er beschreibt diese letzten Tage als eine Zeit, in der \u201cdie Menschen selbsts\u00fcchtig sein werden, geldgierig, prahlerisch, hochm\u00fctig, l\u00e4sterlich, ungehorsam gegen die Eltern, undankbar, unheilig, lieblos, unvers\u00f6hnlich, verleumderisch, z\u00fcgellos, brutal, dem Guten feindlich, verr\u00e4terisch, unbesonnen, aufgeblasen, vergn\u00fcgungss\u00fcchtig statt gottesf\u00fcrchtig; sie haben zwar den Schein der Fr\u00f6mmigkeit, aber deren Kraft verleugnen sie\u201d (2 Timotheus 3,2-4).<\/p><p data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"1037\">Wenn wir die Welt um uns herum betrachten, f\u00e4llt es uns nicht schwer zu glauben, dass wir in den letzten Tagen leben. Die von Paulus beschriebenen Dinge treffen auf unsere Kultur genau zu! Angesichts all dessen ist es verst\u00e4ndlich, dass unser Herz von Sorgen und \u00c4ngsten \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt wird. Doch die Worte des Herrn Jesus sollten uns gro\u00dfen Trost spenden, denn er erkl\u00e4rte: \u201cDies habe ich euch gesagt, damit ihr in mir Frieden habt. In der Welt habt ihr Bedr\u00e4ngnis; aber seid getrost, ich habe die Welt \u00fcberwunden\u201d (Johannes 16,33).<\/p><p data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1144\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Als der gro\u00dfe \u00dcberwinder w\u00fcnscht er sich, dass wir \u00dcberwinder werden und nicht von unserer Kultur \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt werden!<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Es w\u00e4re leicht, wenn wir uns vom Chaos und der Verwirrung unserer Kultur beherrschen lie\u00dfen. Auch Timotheus f\u00fchlte sich als junger Mann, der Gott dienen wollte, \u00e4ngstlich und furchtsam. Paulus erinnerte ihn daran, dass uns als Christen nicht ein Geist der Furcht gegeben wurde, sondern der Kraft, der Liebe und der Besonnenheit (2.
