\u201cIch bin der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben. Niemand kommt zum Vater au\u00dfer durch mich.\u201d<\/em>
Johannes 14:6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Diese Aussage ist eine der sieben \u201cIch bin\u201d-Aussagen Jesu. In der Nacht vor seinem Gang nach Golgatha bereitete der Herr Jesus seine J\u00fcnger auf die kommenden Tage vor. Diese M\u00e4nner waren ihm \u00fcber drei Jahre lang gefolgt und hatten von seinen Lehren und seinem Beispiel gelernt. Sie hatten ihre Hoffnung auf ihn als den Messias, den verhei\u00dfenen Erl\u00f6ser, gesetzt, verstanden aber noch immer nicht, wie er diese Erl\u00f6sung vollbringen w\u00fcrde.<\/p>

Nach dem Passahmahl begann der Herr \u00fcber seinen Abschied zu sprechen, was bei seinen J\u00fcngern Fragen ausl\u00f6ste. Johannes 13:33<\/em>, Jesus sagte:<\/p>

\u201cIhr lieben Kinder, ich werde noch eine kurze Zeit bei euch sein. Ihr werdet mich suchen; und wie ich zu den Juden sagte: \u2018Wo ich hingehe, k\u00f6nnt ihr nicht hinkommen\u2019, so sage ich es nun auch euch.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Dies veranlasste Peter zu fragen, wohin er gehe (Johannes 13:36<\/em>Petrus und die anderen verstanden nicht, dass Jesus von seinem Tod und seiner Himmelfahrt sprach. Jesus antwortete:, \u201cWohin ich gehe, k\u00f6nnt ihr mir jetzt noch nicht folgen, aber sp\u00e4ter werdet ihr es tun.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Petrus ist der erste von vier J\u00fcngern, der als Antwort auf Jesu Aussage in Vers 33 Fragen stellt: Peter<\/strong> (13:36\u201314:4<\/em>); Thomas<\/strong> (14:5\u20137<\/em>); Philip<\/strong> (14:7\u201321<\/em>); Judas<\/strong> (nicht Iskariot) (14:22\u201331<\/em>);<\/p>

Interessanterweise beinhaltete die Pessach-Tradition auch eine Zeit, in der Fragen gestellt wurden (2. Mose 12:26\u201327<\/em>Da er das immer noch missverstand, erkl\u00e4rte Petrus, dass er dem Herrn \u00fcberallhin folgen w\u00fcrde \u2013 selbst bis hin zum Tod. Die J\u00fcnger waren sichtlich beunruhigt und tief betr\u00fcbt.Johannes 14,1.27; 16,6.20\u201322<\/em>) und gibt uns so einen Einblick in die d\u00fcstere und ernste Atmosph\u00e4re im Obergeschoss.<\/p>

In seiner Antwort gibt der Herr Jesus eine dreifache Antwort, um seine J\u00fcnger zu tr\u00f6sten und zu unterweisen:<\/p>

Der Gegenstand unseres Glaubens \u2013 Seine Person: <\/strong>\u201cWenn ihr an Gott glaubt, glaubt auch an mich.\u201d<\/em> (<\/span>Johannes 14:1<\/em>)<\/span><\/p>

Das Versprechen eines himmlischen Zuhauses: <\/strong>\u201cIm Haus meines Vaters gibt es viele Wohnungen\u2026\u201d<\/em> (<\/span>Johannes 14:2<\/em>)<\/span><\/p>

Die Aussicht auf seine R\u00fcckkehr: <\/strong>\u201cIch werde wiederkommen und euch zu mir nehmen\u2026\u201d<\/em> (<\/span>Johannes 14:3<\/em>)<\/span><\/p>

Da sprach der Herr:, \u201cUnd wohin ich gehe, wei\u00dft du, und den Weg, den du kennst.\u201d<\/em> (Johannes 14:4<\/em>Thomas, der im Namen der anderen sprach, erwiderte, dass sie nicht w\u00fcssten, wohin er gehe, und daher auch nicht den Weg kennen k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>

Als Antwort darauf gab Jesus die sechste seiner sieben \u201cIch bin\u201d-Aussagen:<\/p>

\u201cIch bin der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben. Niemand kommt zum Vater au\u00dfer durch mich.\u201d<\/em> (Johannes 14:6<\/em>)<\/p><\/blockquote>
