Denn es gibt nur einen Gott und nur einen Mittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen, den Menschen Christus Jesus, der sich selbst als L\u00f6segeld f\u00fcr alle gegeben hat, wovon zur gegebenen Zeit Zeugnis abgelegt werden soll.
1 Timotheus 2:5\u20136<\/strong>
<\/em><\/p>

Eine der grundlegendsten Lehren des Wortes Gottes ist, dass es nur einen Gott gibt. Aus diesem Vers \u2013 und vielen anderen \u2013 geht auch klar hervor, dass es nur einen Mittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen gibt.<\/p>

Job beschrieb die Notwendigkeit eines Mediators, als er fragte:, \u201cAber wie kann ein Mensch vor Gott gerecht sein?\u201d<\/em> Anschlie\u00dfend sagte er:, \u201cEs gibt auch keinen Vermittler zwischen uns, der seine Hand an uns beide legen k\u00f6nnte.\u201d<\/em> (Hiob 9,1\u20132.33). Dies beschreibt auf wunderbare Weise die Arbeit eines Vermittlers \u2013 eines Menschen, der zwei getrennte Parteien zusammenbringt.<\/p>

Die S\u00fcnde hat die Menschheit von Gott getrennt, doch der Herr Jesus kam in die Welt, um uns zu Gott zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. Er allein ist unser Mittler, denn er ist der Sohn Gottes, der Mensch wurde \u2013 wahrer Gott und wahrer Mensch, doch ohne S\u00fcnde. Wir selbst k\u00f6nnten nichts tun, um vor Gott f\u00fcr uns einzutreten. Keine noch so guten Werke k\u00f6nnten uns in seinen Augen gerecht machen, denn \u201cWir sind alle wie Unreine, und all unsere Gerechtigkeit ist wie ein beflecktes Kleid.\u201d<\/em> (Jesaja 64:6).<\/p>

Wir stehen als schuldige S\u00fcnder vor Gott, und deshalb brauchten wir einen Mittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen. Am Kreuz stellte sich der Herr Jesus zwischen den heiligen Gott und die s\u00fcndige Menschheit und legte, wie Hiob es beschrieb, seine Hand auf uns beide. Er opferte sich ein f\u00fcr alle Mal als S\u00fchneopfer f\u00fcr die S\u00fcnde \u2013 ein Opfer, das sich nie wiederholen wird (Hebr\u00e4er 7,27; 9,9.28; 10,2).<\/p>

Der Herr Jesus ist der einzige Mittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen. Hebr\u00e4er 9,14\u201315 sagt uns:
\u201cWie viel mehr wird das Blut Christi, der sich durch den ewigen Geist als makelloses Opfer Gott dargebracht hat, euer Gewissen von toten Werken reinigen, damit ihr dem lebendigen Gott dienen k\u00f6nnt? Und aus diesem Grund ist er der Mittler des neuen Bundes, durch seinen Tod zur Erl\u00f6sung der \u00dcbertretungen unter dem ersten Bund, damit die Berufenen die Verhei\u00dfung des ewigen Erbes empfangen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Als unser Mittler, der Herr Jesus \u201cEr gab sich selbst als L\u00f6segeld f\u00fcr alle.\u201d<\/em> Das Wort L\u00f6segeld bedeutet den Preis zahlen, um einen Sklaven zu befreien<\/em>\u2013 und wir waren Sklaven der S\u00fcnde. Obwohl Christi Tod f\u00fcr alle ausreichend war, empfangen nur diejenigen seine rettende Wirkung, die ihm vertrauen. Jesus sagte \u00fcber sich selbst:, \u201cDer Menschensohn ist nicht gekommen, um sich dienen zu lassen, sondern um zu dienen und sein Leben als L\u00f6segeld f\u00fcr viele zu geben.\u201d<\/em> (Matth\u00e4us 20,28).<\/p>

Geh\u00f6rst du auch zu den vielen? Kannst du heute sagen: Er ist mein Mittler \u2013 Er ist mein Erl\u00f6ser?<\/p>
