\u201cLasst uns Gott, dem Vater, allezeit f\u00fcr alles danken im Namen unseres Herrn Jesus Christus.\u201d<\/em>
Epheser 5,20<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Es ist so leicht, sich in dem zu verlieren, was wir nicht haben, dass wir vergessen, f\u00fcr das dankbar zu sein, was wir haben. Tun<\/em> Wir k\u00f6nnen entmutigt werden. Ich habe einmal die Geschichte von einem Mann geh\u00f6rt, der die Scheune des Teufels fand. Dort bewahrte der Teufel die Samen auf, die er in die Herzen und das Leben der Menschen s\u00e4te. Der Mann bemerkte, dass es dort eine ungeheure Menge einer bestimmten Art von Samen gab: den Samen der Entmutigung. Als er den Teufel fragte, warum er so viele davon habe, antwortete dieser: \u201cWenn ich Entmutigung in das Leben eines Menschen s\u00e4en kann, dann kann ich fast alles andere in sein Leben bringen, was ich will. Die Samen der Entmutigung keimen fast \u00fcberall \u2013 au\u00dfer im Herzen eines Dankbaren.\u201d<\/p>

Wir leben in einer Zeit, in der so viel Undankbarkeit herrscht. Paulus sagte Timotheus sogar, dass dies die Menschen in den letzten Tagen kennzeichnen w\u00fcrde (2 Tim 3,2). R\u00f6mer 1,21 erinnert uns daran, dass mangelnde Dankbarkeit ein Kennzeichen der Gottlosen ist. \u201cObwohl sie Gott kannten, priesen sie ihn nicht als Gott und waren ihm nicht dankbar.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Doch die Bibel gibt uns viel positive Ermutigung zum Thema Dankbarkeit. Sie betont immer wieder die Wichtigkeit der Dankbarkeit:<\/p>

  • \u201cBringt Gott Dankopfer dar\u201d<\/em> (Ps. 50:14).<\/p><\/li>

  • \u201cO dass die Menschen dem Herrn f\u00fcr seine G\u00fcte dankten und f\u00fcr seine Wundertaten an den Menschenkindern! Sie sollen Dankopfer darbringen und seine Werke mit Jubel verk\u00fcnden!\u201d<\/em> (Ps. 107:21\u201322).<\/p><\/li>

  • \u201cEs ist gut, dem Herrn zu danken und deinem Namen, du H\u00f6chster, Loblieder zu singen.\u201d<\/em> (Ps. 92:1).<\/p><\/li>

  • \u201cSeid allezeit dankbar f\u00fcr alles im Namen unseres Herrn Jesus Christus und dankt Gott, dem Vater.\u201d<\/em> (Eph. 5:20).<\/p><\/li>

  • \u201cUnd alles, was ihr tut, sei es im Wort oder im Werk, das tut alles im Namen des Herrn Jesus und dankt Gott, dem Vater, durch ihn.\u201d<\/em> (Kolosser 3,17).<\/p><\/li>

  • \u201cLasst uns daher durch ihn best\u00e4ndig das Lobopfer darbringen, das ist die Frucht der Lippen, die seinen Namen bekennen.\u201d<\/em> (Hebr. 13:15).<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
