Dann kamen sie ans andere Ufer des Meeres, ins Land der Gadarener. Und als er aus dem Boot gestiegen war, kam ihm sogleich ein Mann mit einem unreinen Geist aus den Gr\u00e4bern entgegen. Er wohnte in den Gr\u00e4bern, und niemand konnte ihn binden, nicht einmal mit Ketten, denn er war schon oft mit Fesseln und Ketten gefesselt worden. Doch er hatte die Ketten zerrissen und die Fesseln zerbrochen; niemand konnte ihn b\u00e4ndigen.
Markus 5,1\u20134<\/strong>
<\/em><\/p>

Beim Lesen von Markus 5,1\u201320 begegnet man einem Mann, der eindr\u00fccklich veranschaulicht, wie ein Leben ohne Christus aussieht. Man k\u00f6nnte sagen, dieser Mann steht stellvertretend f\u00fcr den Zustand jedes Menschen ohne den Herrn Jesus. Er war vom Satan beeinflusst, unrein, nackt, lebte inmitten des Todes, war obdachlos, litt Qualen, war unberechenbar und gef\u00e4hrlich.<\/p>

Im Epheserbrief lesen wir eine \u00e4hnliche Beschreibung derer, die au\u00dferhalb von Christus stehen: \u201cUnd euch hat er lebendig gemacht, die ihr tot wart in euren \u00dcbertretungen und S\u00fcnden, in denen ihr einst gelebt habt nach der Art dieser Welt, nach dem F\u00fcrsten, der in der Luft herrscht, dem Geist, der jetzt in den S\u00f6hnen des Ungehorsams wirkt, unter denen auch wir alle einst gelebt haben in den L\u00fcsten unseres Fleisches, indem wir die Begierden des Fleisches und der Gedanken erf\u00fcllten und von Natur aus Kinder des Zorns waren, wie die anderen auch.\u201d<\/em> (Epheser 2,1\u20133). Wir waren ohne Hoffnung und ohne Gott in der Welt (Epheser 2,12).<\/p>

Doch dieser Mann begegnete Christus \u2013 und das ver\u00e4nderte alles. Er wurde befreit, geheilt und zu einem neuen Menschen mit einem neuen Lebenssinn. Christus sah ihn in diesem schrecklichen Zustand, ergriff die Initiative und trieb den unreinen Geist aus (Markus 5,8).<\/p>

Dieselbe Wahrheit setzt sich in Epheser 2 fort: \u201cGott aber, der reich ist an Barmherzigkeit, hat uns in seiner gro\u00dfen Liebe, mit der er uns geliebt hat, selbst als wir tot waren in unseren S\u00fcnden, mit Christus lebendig gemacht \u2013 aus Gnade seid ihr gerettet \u2013 und uns mit ihm auferweckt und uns mit ihm in die himmlischen Regionen versetzt in Christus Jesus, damit er in den kommenden Zeitaltern den \u00fcberreichen Reichtum seiner Gnade in seiner G\u00fcte gegen uns in Christus Jesus erweisen kann. Denn aus Gnade seid ihr durch den Glauben gerettet, und das nicht aus euch selbst; es ist Gottes Gabe, nicht aus Werken, damit sich niemand r\u00fchme. Denn wir sind sein Werk, geschaffen in Christus Jesus zu guten Werken, die Gott zuvor bereitet hat, damit wir in ihnen wandeln sollen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>
