gefragt: \u201cWarum bin ich meiner Erl\u00f6sung nicht gewiss? Mal f\u00fchle ich mich erl\u00f6st, mal nicht.\u201d Sie verstehen vielleicht, dass allein Christi Tod Ihnen Sicherheit schenkt, aber Sie glauben, dass es Ihr Gef\u00fchl ist, das Ihnen Gewissheit gibt.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div>Der Mensch stellt sich die Erl\u00f6sung folgenderma\u00dfen vor: \u201cDiese Freude habe ich euch geschenkt, die ihr an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes glaubt, damit ihr die Hoffnung auf das ewige Leben habt.\u201d Schlagt nun eure Bibel bei 1. Johannes 5,13 auf und vergleicht die menschlichen Vorstellungen mit Gottes Wort, das sagt: \u201cDies habe ich euch geschrieben, die ihr an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes glaubt, damit ihr wisst, dass ihr das ewige Leben habt.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>In 2. Mose 11\u201312 verk\u00fcndete der Herr das Todesurteil \u00fcber die Erstgeborenen aller H\u00e4user in \u00c4gypten, deren T\u00fcrpfosten nicht mit Lammblut bestrichen waren. Doch wie konnten die erstgeborenen S\u00f6hne Israels in jener Gerichtsnacht sicher sein, dass sie unversehrt blieben? Besuchen wir zwei Familien und h\u00f6ren wir, was sie erz\u00e4hlen.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Im ersten Haus zittern alle vor Angst. Als wir fragen, warum sie so \u00e4ngstlich sind, erz\u00e4hlt uns der erstgeborene Sohn, dass heute Nacht der Todesengel kommt und er nicht wei\u00df, was geschehen wird.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cWenn der Todesengel an unserem Haus vor\u00fcbergezogen ist, wei\u00df ich, dass ich in Sicherheit bin, aber bis dahin kann ich mir nicht sicher sein. Die Nachbarn sagen, sie seien ihrer Erl\u00f6sung gewiss, aber wir halten das f\u00fcr anma\u00dfend. Ich kann nur auf das Beste hoffen.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Wir fragen: \u201cHat der Gott Israels seinem Volk nicht einen Weg zur Sicherheit bereitet?\u201d Der Sohn antwortet: \u201cDoch, und wir haben getan, was Gott uns geboten hat. Das Blut eines makellosen Lammes wurde an die T\u00fcrpfosten gesprengt, aber wir sind uns unserer Sicherheit immer noch nicht sicher.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Nun gehen wir nebenan. Welch ein Kontrast! Alle sind fr\u00f6hlich. Ihre T\u00fcrpfosten sind bemalt, und sie genie\u00dfen das gebratene Lamm. Woher kommt diese Freude in einer so ernsten Nacht? Sie antworten: \u201cWir warten auf Jehovas Befehl zum Aufbruch, und dann werden wir \u00c4gypten verlassen.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cAber wissen Sie denn nicht, dass dies eine Nacht des Gerichts ist?\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cSicher, aber unser erstgeborener Sohn ist in Sicherheit. Das Blut wurde gem\u00e4\u00df Gottes Geboten aufgetragen.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cAber das ist nebenan auch schon passiert\u201d, erwidern wir, \u201cund die Leute dort sind ungl\u00fccklich, weil sie sich ihrer Sicherheit nicht sicher sind.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Der Erstgeborene antwortet entschieden: \u201cWir haben mehr als nur das Blut. Wir haben Gottes Wort dazu. Gott hat gesagt: \u2018Wenn ich das Blut sehe, werde ich an euch vor\u00fcbergehen.\u2019 Gott ist mit dem Blut im \u00c4u\u00dferen zufrieden, und wir sind mit seinem Wort im Inneren zufrieden. Das besprengte Blut sch\u00fctzt uns, w\u00e4hrend Gottes Wort uns Gewissheit gibt.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Welches dieser beiden H\u00e4user war sicherer? Die Antwort ist: Beide waren gleicherma\u00dfen sicher, denn ihre Sicherheit hing allein von Gottes Meinung \u00fcber das Blutvergie\u00dfen ab, nicht von ihren inneren Gef\u00fchlen. Wenn du dir deiner Segnungen sicher sein willst, h\u00f6re nicht auf die unbest\u00e4ndigen Aussagen deiner Gef\u00fchle. H\u00f6re stattdessen auf das unfehlbare Wort Gottes: \u201cWahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer an mich glaubt, hat das ewige Leben\u201d (Joh 6,47).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Lassen Sie mich ein anderes Beispiel anf\u00fchren. Ein Mann m\u00f6chte ein Haus mieten, doch der Vermieter antwortet nicht. Eines Tages sagt ein Nachbar: \u201cIch bin sicher, Sie bekommen das Haus. Erinnern Sie sich nicht, dass der Vermieter Ihnen letztes Weihnachten ein Geschenk geschickt hat? Er hat Ihnen auch neulich zugewinkt.\u201d Diese Worte erf\u00fcllen den Mann mit Hoffnung.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag sagt ein anderer Nachbar: \u201cIch glaube nicht, dass du das Haus bekommst. Jemand anderes hat sich auch beworben, und er ist ein guter Freund des Besitzers.\u201d Die Hoffnungen des Mannes zerplatzen wie Seifenblasen. Gestern noch voller Hoffnung, heute voller Zweifel.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Dann kommt ein Brief vom Eigent\u00fcmer. Sein Gesichtsausdruck wechselt von Anspannung zu Freude, als er ihn liest. Er ruft seiner Frau zu: \u201cJetzt ist alles gekl\u00e4rt. Der Eigent\u00fcmer sagt, das Haus geh\u00f6rt uns, solange wir es mieten wollen. Was andere denken, ist jetzt egal, da wir die schriftliche Best\u00e4tigung des Eigent\u00fcmers haben.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Viele Menschen befinden sich in einer \u00e4hnlichen Lage, geplagt von den Meinungen anderer oder den Gef\u00fchlen ihres Herzens. Erst wenn sie schlie\u00dflich die Gewissheit des Wortes Gottes empfangen, tritt die Zweifel an die Stelle der Gewissheit.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Wenn Gott spricht, muss Gewissheit herrschen, sei es bei der Verk\u00fcndung der Verdammnis des Ungl\u00e4ubigen oder der Erl\u00f6sung des Gl\u00e4ubigen. \u201cDein Wort, HERR, steht ewig fest im Himmel\u201d (Psalm 119,89). Sein Wort ist unumst\u00f6\u00dflich. \u201cHat er gesagt und tut er es nicht? Oder hat er geredet und erf\u00fcllt er es nicht?\u201d (4. Mose 23,19).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Aber vielleicht fragen Sie sich: \u201cWie kann ich sicher sein, dass ich genug und den richtigen Glauben habe?\u201d Es geht nicht um die Art oder das Ausma\u00df Ihres Glaubens, sondern um die Vertrauensw\u00fcrdigkeit der Person, an die Sie glauben. Vertrauen Sie der richtigen Person \u2013 dem Sohn Gottes?\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Der eine klammert sich mit der Kraft eines Ertrinkenden an Christus, der andere ber\u00fchrt nur den Saum seines Gewandes, doch beide sind gleicherma\u00dfen geborgen. Beide haben dieselbe Erkenntnis gewonnen: Sie k\u00f6nnen Christus und seinem Wort vollkommen vertrauen und sich auf die ewige Wirksamkeit seines vollbrachten Werkes verlassen.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Achte darauf, dass dein Vertrauen nicht auf deinen guten Taten, deinen religi\u00f6sen Aktivit\u00e4ten, deinen Gef\u00fchlen oder deiner moralischen Erziehung beruht. Selbst der st\u00e4rkste Glaube an solche Dinge kann dich ewig ins Verderben st\u00fcrzen. Der schw\u00e4chste Glaube an Christus rettet ewig; der st\u00e4rkste Glaube an sich selbst ist nutzlos.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cIch glaube an ihn\u201d, sagte eines Tages ein traurig dreinblickendes M\u00e4dchen, \u201caber ich sage nicht gern, dass ich erl\u00f6st bin, aus Angst, zu l\u00fcgen.\u201d Der Vater des M\u00e4dchens war auf einem Viehmarkt gewesen, um Schafe zu kaufen, und noch nicht zur\u00fcck. Da sagte ich: \u201cStell dir vor, dein Vater kommt nach Hause und du fragst ihn, wie viele Schafe er gekauft hat, und er sagt: \u2018Zehn.\u2019 Sp\u00e4ter fragt dich jemand, wie viele Schafe dein Vater heute gekauft hat, und du antwortest: \u2018Ich will es nicht sagen, weil ich l\u00fcgen k\u00f6nnte.\u2019\u201d Mit gerechtem Zorn rief ihre Mutter, die daneben stand: \u201cAber dann w\u00e4re ihr Vater ja ein L\u00fcgner!\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Genauso stellte dieses gutmeinende M\u00e4dchen Christus als L\u00fcgner dar, indem sie sagte: \u201cIch glaube an ihn, aber ich sage nicht gern, dass ich erl\u00f6st bin, aus Angst, ich k\u00f6nnte l\u00fcgen.\u201d Christus hat jedoch gesagt: \u201cWer an mich glaubt, hat das ewige Leben\u201d (Joh 6,47).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Vielleicht fragen Sie sich dann: \u201cWie kann ich sicher sein, dass ich glaube? Je mehr ich meinen Glauben hinterfrage, desto weniger scheint er mir zu sein.\u201d Vielleicht suchen Sie in die falsche Richtung. Ihr Versuch zu glauben zeigt nur, dass Sie auf dem falschen Weg sind.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Lassen Sie mich ein anderes Beispiel anf\u00fchren. Eines Abends erz\u00e4hlt Ihnen ein notorischer L\u00fcgner, dass ein Freund bei einem Autounfall ums Leben gekommen sei. Sie werden ihm wahrscheinlich nicht glauben, weil Sie ihn zu gut kennen. Doch dann \u00fcberbringt Ihnen ein Nachbar dieselbe traurige Nachricht. Diesmal sagen Sie: \u201cWeil Sie es mir sagen, glaube ich es.\u201d Ich frage: \u201cWarum glauben Sie Ihrem Nachbarn und nicht dem L\u00fcgner?\u201d Sie antworten: \u201cWeil mein Nachbar so ist, wie er ist. Er hat mich noch nie angelogen, und ich wei\u00df, dass er es auch nie tun wird.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Genauso wei\u00df ich, dass ich dem Evangelium glauben kann, weil er mir die Botschaft bringt. \u201cWenn wir uns von Menschen bezeugen lassen, so ist doch das Zeugnis Gottes viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer; denn dies ist das Zeugnis Gottes, das er von seinem Sohn abgelegt hat \u2026 Wer Gott nicht glaubt, macht ihn zum L\u00fcgner, weil er dem Zeugnis nicht geglaubt hat, das Gott von seinem Sohn abgelegt hat\u201d (1 Joh 5,9\u201310).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ein \u00e4ngstlicher Mensch sagte einst zu einem Prediger: \u201cIch kann es nicht glauben.\u201d Der Prediger fragte: \u201cWem k\u00f6nnen Sie denn nicht glauben?\u201d Diese Frage l\u00f6ste das Problem. Er hatte Glauben als etwas betrachtet, das er in sich selbst f\u00fchlen musste, um sicher zu sein, dass er f\u00fcr den Himmel geeignet war. Doch der Glaube richtet seinen Blick stets nach au\u00dfen auf Christus und sein vollbrachtes Werk und h\u00f6rt still auf das Zeugnis eines treuen Gottes \u00fcber beides.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Der Blick nach au\u00dfen schenkt inneren Frieden. Wenn ein Mensch sein Gesicht der Sonne zuwendet, liegt sein Schatten hinter ihm. Man kann nicht gleichzeitig auf sich selbst und auf den verherrlichten Christus im Himmel blicken. Gottes Sohn gewinnt dein Vertrauen: Sein vollbrachtes Werk schenkt dir ewige Geborgenheit, und Gottes Wort gibt dir die Gewissheit der
